Serendipity Stamps September Blog Hop!

Thanks for stopping by! It's a great day for a visit! There's lots going on so I hope you take some time to look around - there's more than one chance to win something here today! Serendipity Stamps is having their September blog hop today to show you some of the latest products and remind you to play along with our challenge! Our blog hop theme this month is Cheer up! If you're following along you should have reached me from my sweet friend Vickie Zimmer's blog. If you want to start from the beginning you can find all the details at Mary's Blog

Our challenge this month is "Leave it Bare".  We want you to let your detailed stamp take center stage. No room for covering up this time - we want you to leave the stamped image bare! No markers, no pencils - nothing - nada! Our red rubber stamps make gorgeous detailed impressions - just ink and stamp! Just be sure to include at least one Serendipity Stamps image (stamp or die) on your design!    You have until September 29 to join us at the challenge - you can find it here at Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.

Stamping in colored ink is a great way to help these images come alive and add lots of color.  I stamped mine in hot pink!

The Welcome die cut word is new.  I double cut it layering some gold glitter paper underneath for a little sparkle.  I love that the letters in the Serendipty word dies are always connected.  It makes the die easy to work with since it's all in one piece.  The dots on the "i"s are always connected too so you can't loose them!
I'm still loving the wood grain sequins in the ship and I think they go with everything!

If you love the stamp I used it's called "Postoid Cling Set".  This is four separate stamps -they're not attached to each other.  This set is the 50% off stamp of the month for September - no code required.

I made one more "Naked" card featuring the Sledding Snowman stamp!  Isn't he adorable!  Another way to add color is to stamp on colored paper.  I love adding pink to traditional Red for Christmas!

The "Snow" word die is a fun font with a snowflake for the center of the "O".  I cut some extra snowflakes to add as embellishments to my card.  I cut them from white card stock and scattered them about adding pink pearls in their centers.

There's quite a few Pretty Pink Posh dies on this card as well.  Did you know you can find them in the Serendipity Stamps Shop?  The stitched outline details make everything look rich and elegant.   I used the Stitched Borders One (gold scallop border), Stitched Duo One (Pink Flag Tag for Snowman)  and Stitched Labels One (Red Flag Tag).
I'm the last stop on this hop.. so I guess this is the end of the road. :( But before you go... PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT. One random comment will be selected from the blogs on the hop as winner of a $20 gift certificate for Serendipity Stamps! Who knows it might just be YOU! But you have to leave a comment to enter! You have until midnight US EST on Sunday, September 25 to leave a comment. Mary will announce the winner on her blog on Monday September 26.

I'm always so amazed at how good you can make a card look when you simply stamp an image with black ink and don't color! You're a genius! And love the postoids in that bright pink!
