Butterfly Friends

I hope you're having a great day! I'm enjoying the warm weather and all the flowers blooming in the yard! All of those colorful flowers are attracting butterflies too so there is always something new to enjoy!

I was inspired by the garden to make this sunny card with the Butterfly Friends stamp set. I colored the images with alcohol markers in bright shades to make these Butterfly Friends feel right at home!

The clean line designs were easy to color and the coordinating dies make them a snap to cut. I couldn't resist adding rosy cheeks to the Butterfly Friends to give them a little more personality! There are four different butterfly images in this set so you can arrange them as you like. I loved these two that look like they're having a conversation. There are two different florals in the set that are easy to stack to make your own flower garden.

The background is a rainbow ink blend of Distress Ink in soft pastel shades. I like the contrast of the soft background with the bold colored images. I added a sprinkle of Starlight Gems to satisfy the "eye candy" department.

Stay Sparkly

Today I'm sharing some total cuteness with the Pink & Main "Stay Sparkly" stamp set. This trio of mermaids and their aquatic friends are just the ticket to big smiles for everyone on your nice list! 

I especially like that just by switching up the colors of the skintone and outfits that I can personalize the mermaids to look like the recipient of my card. 

The stamp set even comes with some cute punny sentiments like "Make Waves", "Stay Sparkly" and "Shell-oh" so you have everything you need for lots of sweet makes! 

I decided to keep the "underwater" background simple so that the mermaids take center stage. I simply blended Distress Inks and then splattered the inky panel with water and some watered down blue ink. Some sparkly confetti pieces look like underwater bubbles and add some shimmer.

I hope your smiling! I think these mermaids are irresistible!

Hope Blooms

Thanks for stopping by I hope you are having a great day! Today I'm sharing some beautiful flowers. Flowers are always my favorite and this time of year I can't wait to see what's new in the garden.

These pretty layered bloom "Painted Flowers" dies are from Waffle Flower. They're easy to assemble and are so striking.

I was inspired by the "Painted Flowers" name and thought of Monet's "Waterlillies" that I substituted with these bright blooms.

I raised the flowers with adhesive foam tape and tucked the foliage under the blooms flat to the card base.

Thank You Berry Much!

Is there anything sweeter than fresh berries in the summertime? They're just too tempting to resist! 

My card today is made with the Fresh Berries stamp set and coordinating dies from Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped and colored a big pile of these so all that was left to do was arrange them.

I adhered a light pink panel to the front of a card base and then die cut the Pretty Petals cover die from white cardstock. Next I added the "Berry much" sentiment to the center of the card, and then arranged the fruit and foliage above and below the sentiment.

The foliage is adhered flat to the card base and the berries are "popped up" using adhesive foam tape. This adds dimension to the design. A scatter of flowers is the finishing touch for this pretty design!

This card is sure to make the recipients life sweeter! I hope you're smiling too!

Be Pawsome

Hi Friends! I hope you're having a great day! I spent the morning weeding and filling the bird feeders so now its time to relax and share a card.

My card today starts with a Dashed Rhombus background that I topped with a Three Tiered Shelf die cut from Waffle Flower.

Now for the fun part.. adding all the little accessories from Shelf Add Ons, Shelf Additions and Cattitude die sets. I love that little bitty mouse toy for the cat!

I double cut the fern and lamp shade to add a little dimension. A simple pre-printed, die cut sentiment and a few enamel dots are the finishing touch.

Just For You Sweets

I'm so excited by the new Pink and Main May Release! As always there is a little something for everyone.. new stamps, Foilables, Embossing, Foil and my favorite DIES! Check out the new Pastry Tray die set!

I love all the little details on this Pastry Tray that have me thinking of tea at a fancy restaurant or a visit to my favorite bakery. The three tiered stand can hold die cut macaroons, cupcakes, pie, croissants, cookies and more!

There's even an éclair, serving knife, a pitcher and cookie jar. I tried using all the pieces in the set, but missed a few. You can arrange the pastries and personalize them by changing out the image colors.

For the background I layered patterned paper from the Pop Flowers Pad over a Scalloped Rectangle. I added a sentiment from the Mice Birthday stamp set and inked it on the pattern paper for a clean design. The finishing touch was a sprinkle of Warm Jellies gems.
