Sending Seeds of Joy

Today I'm playing along at Just Us Girls Challenge Blog where it's Anything Goes with a Stencil!  I'm also linking up to Time Out Challenge where this time the cue words are Mother Nature.   I think half the fun of planting a garden is the miracle of watching a seed turn into a plant and then watching the flowers turn into fruits and veggies!
Fun fact about me is that I'm a gardener so I really loved seeing this set from Waffle Flower Crafts! FIrst you cut out the Postage Collage Seeds Die, and then ink it with the coordinating Setncil.

I topped mine with a white Postage Collage Blocks die. I ink this give the stenciled bits a cleaner look because they're framed. It forgives any little line up errors you might have made.
To make it a little fussier I set it over a striped "air mail" background made with the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil and then cut with an A2 Piercing Layers die for that dotted edge that matches some of the cut outs on the base.
I thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic day! Hugs!

Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 Summer Fall 2026

Today I’m sharing four cards made with the latest Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 for Summer/Fall. The paper pack includes (12) exclusive 12x12 double-sided papers (and the 12x12 cover sheet also has an additional pattern on the back side!). The papers are a high quality matt finish, and the pack now includes a full sheet of monthly cut-apart cards in 3x4 & 4x6 sizes.
The three months covered in this Season Pass are July through September. You’ll find summer vibes and cool treats for July including sweet lemonade, ice pops, and of course a splash of patriotic red white and blue! August celebrates time outdoors with butterflies and sunshine! August celebrates the beginning of fall when we’re spending a little more time indoors with woodland critters, apples, and cozy elements like stacks of books and tea time. The kit is designed to help you capture the season’s most meaningful moments with ease and style. My cards today focus on July and August Summer vibes!
Season Pass 2.0... a quarterly program/kit with exclusive products for memory keeping enthusiasts, including paper, die cuts, rub-ons, stickers & stamps. Perfect for traveler's notebooks, planners, journals, scrapbook pages, mini books, cards and more.
I like to use the 3x4” journaling cards to create focal points for my designs. They are usually a solid color which makes them perfect for layering over busy pattern papers. Some even have printed sentiments so all you need to do is add embellishments!
This time I made collage cards that combine lots of elements with the same theme of summer fun, or tea time, and a picnic scene. The die cut pack includes 84 different images to choose from so designs come together quick.
You’ll also find rub ons, a stamp set and wordstrip stickers that make creating even more fun! The kit has everything you need to make all of my cards. The only items I added are the card bases, solid cardstock matts, adhesives and gems from my stash.
These cards will be used to send smiles across the miles with Summer greetings and invites for a few get togethers for some outdoor fun!
Here's a photo of all four cards together so you can see the variety of things you can make.

I'm linking up to Love Those Pretty Papers challenge where it's always Anything goes with an optional "Coastal" this month!

I'll be sharing four more later in the month so stay tuned!

Sweet As Can Be!

Today I'm playing at Just Add Ink where they want you to use a stencil, dies or both! This one goes out to my HONEYBEE!
My card starts with the Pretty Pink Posh Bee Additions stamp set. I stamped, colored and cut the images and then arranged them on a piece of plastic the size of my card base.
The clear piece of plastic makes it easy to slide different papers underneath to decide on what I think looks best.
For this one I selected a Checkered Pierced Plate that I inked with Sweet Honey Distress Ink. I gave it a good splatter with water, white ink and some diluted Spiced Marmalade.
I think this will make a great thank you for someone who is as sweet as can be!

You're A Catch

Today I'm playing at Creative Creases Challenge where anything goes with a fun fold! I'm sending this one out to all of you who like to fish today!
Pink and Main has been nailing it with all the fun fold cards they've been releasing. You'll find several to choose from. This one is called A Catch!
This is really easy to assemble. Just cut out the pieces! The layers are cut out to match the smaller detail pieces that you just stack one on the other.
The hardest part is selecting what colors to use! Just look at those stripes on this Rainbow Trout!
I added the little dragonflies and a sentiment strip that does come in the set. To assemble you just fold on the creases and attach the panels inside the box you created. Everything folds completely flat and fits in an A2 size envelope.
I hope you find some time to play!

My Creative Scrapbook July 2026 Main Kit

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! If you're looking for a great way to treat yourself I hope you consider trying a subscription to one of the My Creative Scrapbook monthly kits. They select the pattern papers and lots of coordinating supplies and deliver it straight to your front door so all you have to focus on is MAKING! Every month they have several kits to choose from.. their Main Kit, LE - Limited Edition, Creative Kit and Album Kit - so you can choose what's right for you!

This time I'm playing with the Main Kit that includes 12" papers and embellishments from Simple Stories Sweet Summertime Collection. You'll also find die cuts, stickers, and lots more! Everything is hand selected with care and perfectly coordinated to work together and shipped directly to your door!
This collection celebrates summer! You'll find sweet cool treats, and juicy fruits. Images take you from picnics to poolside and the beach.
The prints are rainbow bright plaids, stripes, gingham, flowers, butterflies, cherries and everything summer!
The first thing I do is go through the images in the kit. I turn stickers into die cuts by adding a bit of baby powder to the adhesive backs. That way I can take my time before adhering them in place. I separate images that go together. In this case it was a pile for camping, another for beach, cookout, and finally a shady house scene.

Everything you see on my cards is included in the kit EXCEPT for the white cardstock card bases, solid cardstock cover matts, adhesives and enamel dots. Things that you already probably have in your stash right now.
There are lots of sentiments in die cuts and stickers. I even cut a few sentiments from the printed paper to add to the designs.
I invite you to join one of their monthly kit clubs and experience the possibilities that their coordinated kits offer. With plenty of innovative materials and ideas to jump start your imagination, preserving your memories and making cards will be effortless and enjoyable. You can see all of the different kits available this month here at My Creative Scrapbook.

I'm linking to Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge where the optional theme this time is COASTAL.
