Blessed Beyond Words

Today I'm playing at Cut it Up Challenge where this time it's Grateful Thankful Blessed! If you want to play along you better hurry because there's only a few days left!

I cut the Waffle Flower Cozy Icons dies from bright colorful solid cardstock, assembled them and then arranged them on an Inside / Outside Circle Die cut. The Cozy Icons set includes all the images you see on the card including the leaves, mushrooms, acorn, butterflies and even the coffee cup.

I liked the circle to create a focal point for the Grateful Heart Sentiment and to help ground the different elements like the coffee cup and little snail.

The background is a Tiny Diamonds cover plate that adds lots of texture and more color to your design when it's layered over a darker panel of cardstock.

That little pumpkin on the sleeve of the coffee cup is colored with makers and has me wanting a pumpkin spice Frappuccino! Oh the temptation! LOL!

Thanksgiving Pie!

Thanks for stopping by! Wow time seems to be flying as we get to the end of the year. It's November - time to start thinking about spending more time indoors with FAMILY and FRIENDS! Today I'm playing along at Time Out Challenges where they're celebrating fall holidays around the world.

This is the Waffle Flower Table Runner Die. It's the white center die cut on the above card. It has scalloped edges that are only attached at the ends so they're easy to remove if you don't want to use them. There are two coordinating stencils so you can apply a pattern to the table runner in the color of your choice.

My table is set with some yummy pies created with the Table Add on Pie die set. It includes a lattice crust and a crimped edge crust and some whipped cream dollop toppings.

The sentiment is from the Grateful Heart stamp set - yes there is a coordinating die set so cutting is a snap. The set has lots of great sentiments to choose from.

The little pie server comes in the Table Runner die set. I added some enamel candy dots for some sparkle and shine.

The best part about Thanksgiving? The pies of course! Gobble Gobble! Have a great day!

Waffle Flower October Release and Giveaway !

Oh Happy Day! The new Waffle Flower Release is available in the store! We're calling this release Sweet Gathering because it's all about celebrating the occasions that we get together to celebrate.. think birthdays, and of course Thanksgiving!

I've shown you lots of die cut/stenciled designs over the past three days, but did I mention that there are some new Postage Collage designs as well? This one is called Autumn Sunset. It's a stamp set that creates silhouettes of fall images.

I made the colorful background with all over sticky paper. I cut the waves by hand and then inked them with Distress Ink. The Postage Collage Coloring Stencil frames out each stamp and protects the borders from ink.

To add a little more detail to the design I added a gold glitter paper Postage Collage Blocks die under the Postage Collage Stamps die. The gold peeks through the open holes. The bottom layer is just an inked A2 Piercing Layers die cut. I inked it randomly in the same colors as the waves in the background.

The sentiment is from the Grateful Heart Sentiment stamp set. It is a beautiful mixed font with thankful, grateful, blessed heartfelt sentiments.

Waffle Flower October Release Sneak Peek Day 2!

Thanks for stopping by! We started sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower release yesterday! The new products will be available in the store on October 5. We're calling this release Sweet Gathering because we're celebrating the events that bring us together as family and friends.

My card today features the new Pumpkin Time Texture Die! It was easy to ink with the coordinating Pumpkin Time Coloring Stencil. Waffle Flower has everything you need to make stenciling easier including Grip Mats and detail brushes.

To add a little more detail, I cut the finished panel with an A2 Piercing Layers die.

My sentiment is the new Vertical Thanks die that I double cut from gold foil and shades of blue cardstock. I love the contrast of the orange and blue together - complimentary colors at their very best.

The finishing touch is always some bling! This time I added some colorful enamel dots.

Waffle Flower October Release Sneak Peek Day 3!

It's Day 3 of Waffle Flower Sneak peeks! The release is officially available in the store TOMORROW - October 5!!! We're calling this release Sweet Gathering because it focuses on different events where we gather as family and friends to celebrate!

This is the new Table Runner die set. It includes the lacy edge table runner, plates, flatware, placemats, napkins and pie server.  There are stencil patterns available so you can add a pattern if you like.

The sentiment is from the Grateful Heart sentiment set that is a fun mix of print and script fonts and has lots of perfect sentiments giving thanks and expressing gratitude.

That turkey is my favorite this release - it's one of the table add on's. I love the little oranges and apples and greenery that garnish the turkey. There's also a pie add on die set so you have all your Thanksgiving favorites.

Waffle Flower September Release Sneak Peek Day One

It's a great day for a visit because today the sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower Crafts release begins. September 2-4 we'll be sharing peeks and the products become available in the store on September 5! We're calling this release Stenciled Stories because there are lots of images to create using just stencils!

My card today has lots of layers starting with the new Rhombus Panel background. There's also a Rhombus TEXTURE die that you can layer under that for even more detail. I topped that with an A2 Piercing Layer that I inked with a striped stencil design from the new Nesting Postage Blocks.

The new Nesting Postage Collage Die Set includes the big rectangle, circle and small rectangle postage stamp shapes.

They coordinate with stencil sets like the Nesting Postage Mush Love that I used or the new Let It Snow or Party Bear stencil sets. The stencil sets include images for each of the three postage stamp shapes.

Yes there are coordinating stamps that fit exactly inside that smaller rectangle called Nesting Postage Greetings.
