Pretty Pink Posh NEW Release & Giveaway!

Thanks for stopping by because it's a great day for a visit! The latest Pretty Pink Posh release is now available in the shop and we're celebrating with an Instagram Hop!

Scene cards are always my favorite and this one starts with a simple background of Snowy Hills borders cut from green cardstock and layered over a violet panel that is cut with the Scallops Pierced Plate die.

Next I added Spooky Forest trees with leaves from the new Halloween Wreath Builder die set. I cut them in rainbow shades to look like autumn in full bloom! A circle becomes a moon and a few pumpkins help set the scene.

A ghost and sentiment from the Mini Ghost stamp set let you know this is Halloween!

You're A Real Gem!

Halloween is creeping up FAST! I love seeing what's popular every year and am always impressed at the creativity I see in peoples choice of costume and how they are created. So how many of you are going as pirates this Halloween?

I've got a fun card of an underwater scene today made with lots of die cuts on a simple Distress Oxide background. I love the Distress Oxide for blending... it's smooth creamy texture makes it seamless. I tend to use the original Distress Ink when I want bright bold colors!

I love the Inquisitive Pirate Add On die set. There are lots of details worth noting like the stitched detail in the treasure map, the facet cuts on the coins and gems as well as the layers for building the treasure chest.

The sentiment is from the Treasure Hunt Sentiments stamp set. It has lots of clever sayings that pair perfectly with the pirate theme.

I added a little crab from the Happy Crabs set. There was no waste with this one as I cut it from light and dark red cardstock and then alternated the layers to make two crabs. I added silly eyes to make him just a little more cute!

I'm playing along at Creative Knockouts where this time it's Halloween or Fall and there's still lots of time to play!

Halloween Cake Pops

Today I'm playing at A Cut Above where it's always about the die cuts! You know me.. die cuts are my favorite so I'm always game!

Today my card features the Halloween Pops from Pretty Pink Posh! These pops remind me of the ones at Starbucks.. always to pretty to actually eat!

I had lots of fun assembling these cuties! The Frankenstein has a chocolate dipped top, the cat has silly eyes, and the bows all have pearl centers.

The background is the Eyelet Rectangles die that I topped with a panel that I cut with the Scallops Pierced Plate. This adds more texture and gives it a fussier look.

The finishing touch is always a sprinkle of sparkle - this time.. SILVER METALLIC JEWELS! Sweet! I hope you find some time to play! AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
