Jolly Wave Hello

Today I'm playing at Word Power Challenge where it's always anything goes as long as a word is the focus of your design.

My card is made with lots of goodness from Waffle Flower Designs and look! No stamps! All dies! LOL!!!

I started with the Jolly Wave A2 Background Panel cut from white cardstock. I adhered it to a sheet of double sided tape and then cut up ALOT of scraps and inserted all the little pieces into the sticky holes to create this beautiful colorful background.

I topped the pretty panel with a great big Waving Hello Word die. To make it pop I cut the outline die from gold glitter cardstock. The detail word die is cut from white cardstock. This die also includes an exclamation mark that I left off the design.

Hay There!

Hi Friends! I hope you're having a great day. We're recovering from the storms that hit northwest Indiana. Our power and Wi-Fi were out for 5 days and lots of trees down, but we're ok here. I'm happy to be making again as we get back to normal

Today I'm playing at Crafty Animals Challenge where it's always about our furry friends. But no worries - insects are welcome too (think butterflies, dragonflies and buzzy bees)!

My card features the Pink & Main Udderly Adore You stamp set and coordinating dies. I think these little guys are super cute with their mop top hair and sweet expressions.

I love a scene card and this set has all the extras.. clouds, grass, sunflowers, a fence and even that cute little chick! Yes! And the punny sentiment was also included!

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Today I'm playing at I Spy With My Little Eye ... something with wings!!! Today that's Dragonflies from the Pink and Main Fluttering By stamp set.

When I get a new stamp set I try to fit ALL the stamps on my card so you can see exactly what you're going to get if you purchase the set. This one has three dragonflies and three floral arrangements along with a few bitty flowers and some sentiments.

I inked mine with alcohol markers. The clean line designs were easy to color. The hardest part is deciding what colors to use!

For an interesting background I selected colors that repeated shades in the flowers and the dragonfly wings and cut them in various size strips. The panel is bold and vibrant and lets the images shine. The finishing touch was a sprinkle of diamond shaped enamel gems.

Waffle Flower July Release Sneak Peeks Day 3

It's Day two of the countdown to the latest Waffle Flower release! We're calling this release Through The Window because there are lots of great new ways to use your Postage Collage series products. But there's other new products too!

There are new Elongated Ovals and Piercing Sunburst dies in sizes to fit every size card base including A2, A6, A7, Slimline and Mini Slimline!

I cut the ovals from colorful cardstock and then stacked them. A big Waving Hello Word Die and some Postage Collage Swallow Dies cut from white cardstock pop against the colorful background.

To complete the design I added a preprinted die cut Subsentiment hello and a few white enamel dots.

Waffle Flower July Sneak Peeks Day 1

Thanks for stopping by! It's day one of sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower Release! We're calling this one "Through The Window". We've got lots of new ways to refresh your Postage Collage Series dies!

I inked the Postage Collage Wavy Lines on a piece of cardstock in sunset (or is it sunrise?) shades. Next I stamped new Postage Collage City Sunset buildings in the colorful squares.+

I topped the inked designs with a Postage Collage Blocks frame and then added smaller frames in white with the New Postage Collage Windows.

The background stripes are from the existing Postage Collage Coloring stencil set. I cut the inked stripes with the A2 Piercing Layers die.

My sentiments are simple printed, cut Subsentiment Window strips. I added some glittery enamel dots to the background for a little bling. I think this card is totally summer in the city!

Silly Goose Pull and Surprise Card

Hello you silly goose! Today I'm sharing a fun card made with Pretty Pink Posh# This isn't your ordinary card! This is an interactive card!

First I assembled the card and decorated the cover. I cut it from a heavy cardstock and then cut it again from some patterned paper from the Blooms and Butterflies Paper Pack.

The stamped, die cut and colored images are from the Silly Goose stamp set. The "hello" die is included in the Pull and Surprise card die set.

When you pull the card from the cut oval from the top, the cover bends and reveals a surprise. I tucked a Starbucks gift card in mine!

Pink & Main has come up with so many dimensional interactive card die sets in the past few months. If you haven't stopped by in a while it's time you give them another look !
