SSBC#9 - Oh Baby!

Kids back in school?  Check!  So glad to finally get back in a routine.      We stayed home over spring break - everyone had the flu - finally getting back to normal.  Don't get me wrong - I love when the kids are home - but I feel so guilty when I sneak off to do a little crafting.  I have such a hard time sitting for hours watching TV or movies - hopefully they don't notice when I disappear!
Today I'm playing along with the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.  There is a challenge twice a month - this time it's to make a baby card or project.  I usually start thinking soft pinks and blues when I think of baby but what tripped me up was the teddy bear.  When my son was born he received the softest velour teddy that was his bedtime buddy for years (Sorry Tut!! I know ... so embarrassing!!).  The teddy was dressed in primary colors - so bright and cheerful.  Memories of good times!

I love the "snips and snails" sentiment - Serendipity also has the "sugar and spice" for the little ladies too!  Here's my finished card...
Check out what the rest of the design team came up with for this challenge and see some of the other wonderful nostalgic images Serendipity Stamps has to offer.

We'd love it if you would join us at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog for your chance to win $20 off your next Serendipity Stamps order.  The sale this week is free shipping off all continental US orders over $10 now through April 10!  You can jump to the store here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Look at the coloring on that bear! I love your story of Tut! It brought back such sweet memories. Carly had a buffalo named Buff which she loved and kept in her room for many years. I still have him saved away in my hope chest to give to her when she has a baby. I love the colors you chose for your baby card...so cute in a bright color and love the addition of the blocks and that great sentiment. Beautiful card Jeanne.
