RCSFYTT - I'm Under Your Spell!

Are you ready for some Confetti?   A new sketch has been revealed today.  You have the whole month to play along!  Just make sure you roll out some Reverse Confetti to play along.  Sketches are my favorite sort of challenge.  I think it takes lots of guess work out of what to make.  You have a blue print for your design, you just need to fill it in with your favorite stamp set.  It's a great way to learn to mix and match papers too.   For this one you're going to need three patterns.  One for the blue, red and green areas.  An image or a sentiment will look great in the circle area.

I love Halloween so it was easy for me to decide what to work with today!  I went straight for the Best Witches Stamp set!  This set has lots of cute images and perfect little punny sentiments to go with the images.  The witch is my favorite in the set, and her "companion" the little bat.

I took a few liberties with the sketch.. of course a circle doesn't need to be a circle so instead of  everything being a square shape I changed the bottom to a chevron using the Edgers Confetti Cuts.

I used the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts to make the witch the focal point of this card.  I cut the pierced circle from yellow to look like a moon.   I thought the other shapes fit the sketch well too - the zig zag circle and the ribbon in purple.

The sentiment was cut with a paper trimmer.  I love how each of the sentiments goes with a specific character.
The witch and bat were inked in Memento and colored with Copic markers. I used a white gel pen to give the witch some freckles over her blushed cheeks.
Did you know Reverse Confetti has papers now?  There's card stock in 5 colors and this new 6" patterned paper pad called "Fright Night"  YEP!  New matching inks too so creating is color coordinated - no more trying to match the perfect colors.  All the guess work is gone!
Are you ready to play?  You can find the challenge here on the Reverse Confetti blog.  You'll find samples every week from the design team to inspire you and give you ideas for different ways to use the sketch with your favorite Reverse Confetti sets!

I sure hope I see you there!
