It's New Year's Eve!

It's New Year's Eve! No big plans here. I'm planning on a quiet evening at home with DH and the fur baby! I'll be up past midnight ringing in the new year. I sure hope Mr. J. can keep up! LOL!
This card was made with with the December kit from The Hedgehog Hollow Shop. The kit is $39.95 and is a great value because it includes an amazing exclusive stamp and coordinating die set from Pretty Pink Posh, as well as a Happy New Year's Script word die, a fireworks stencil, and even an exclusive sequin mix created exclusively for The Hedgehog Hollow shop.
I adore this set! It has all the images your mind jumps to when you think of New Year's Eve.
Wishing you and yours the very best 2019! May all your troubles and worries stay behind and only light an love enter in the new year!

The 12 Kits of Occasions
Periwinkle Party

It's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.

I'm sad to see two friends go this time.  Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone has taught me how one's personality can shine through in all they do.  Her love of life and amazing sense of humor is always winking at you if you look close enough.

And Jessica Davis from The Paper Parade has taught me to embrace life.. the good and the bad - and make it an adventure.  I know she'll always be there to share kindness  and keep making this world a better place.
Our Hostess this month is Michelle Leone from Pretty Periwinkle Blog! She put together a gorgeous kit of periwinkle and coral with images from Right at Home, Concord & 9th, Flora & Fauna, and Altenew. The kit included swoon worthy gold embossed die cut sentiments, foil papers and pretty ribbons. Everything was a treat to work with. I had lots of fun making these 4 cards!

Pretty Little Studio Christmas Joy

I'm not ready to let go of the holiday season just yet. I'm still sending out cards with notes to friends I haven't talked to in a while wishing them the best of the season.
I really adore the Pretty Little Studio Christmas Joy Collection. Don't you love the mix of pink with the navy? And there are so many adorable images in this set that just make me smile!
The little ornaments and houses and are from the Joy die cuts pack. The holly, sentiment tag and snowman are from the Tis The Season die cuts pack. It's fun to mix and match them to create scenes.
I added a few Christmas Words stickers to add some whimsy to the design. Some Rose Pink Sequins are the icing on the cake! Candy for your eyes!
Enjoy the long weekend with your family - the holidays sure go fast!

TupeloDesignsLLC - Birthday Floral

It's the most wonderful time of the year but I think it's also the busiest! I've been having a little trouble finding some balance! It's going to be another long holiday weekend with New Year's just a few days away! Times like this I like to do m shopping on line - it saves me time because I don't have to run to the store! And I can shop in the middle of the night when the rest of the stores are closed!

My card today features lots of My Favorite Things from TupeloDesignsLLC. They have lots of different floral sets available. This one is called Flashy Florals. It's a multi stamp set meaning that you stamp the first layer with a light ink color, and then add layers by stamping over the original image with a slightly darker shade of ink. I used Altenew Inks because they're designed specifically for multi stamped images. Coordinating die cuts make the florals easy to cut out.
The background die is called Triangle Screen. There are lots of other background dies in the store to choose from that make backgrounds spectacular.
The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Cupcake Day. I masked the sentiment with a piece of tape, inked it, removed the tape and then stamped it on a Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strip die.

Want to go shopping? I hope you'll give TupeloDesignsLLC a chance. They're variety is great, their prices are competitive, and delivery is always free (USA only - discounted rates international). I hope you'll try them and discover something new. Click here to go shopping!

TupeloDesignsLLC - Just Because

Happy Friday! I hope you've been very good! Looks like it's going to be a long festive weekend! I can't believe that Christmas Eve is Monday! With everyone running around trying to get it all done I've really enjoyed shopping from home. It's nice ordering on line and having your packages delivered to your door! That's why I love shopping at TupeloDesignsLLC! I always find something new and a package full of crafty goodness in the mail is a nice way to treat myself.
Today I'm playing with the Concord & 9th Just Because stamp and die set from the store. I started with the inked up yellow rectangle in the center of the card front. I used ombre shades of Altenew ink and slightly overlapped the stamped block from the set.
Next I die cut the sentiment and frame from the coordinating die set and decided where to place them before inking up the foliage on the corners of the panel.
To add more color I inked up the outer edges with distress ink, and then added some die cut foliage and bitty flowers for a pop of color.

And Merry Christmas to you all !

Momenta Merry & Bright

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I've got some exciting news to share. If your a fan of Momenta you'll be happy to know they've just started a creative challenge for December. Yes there are prizes and they'll be reposting favorite projects they love on Instagram! They have inspirational prompt words to get you motivated and inspired, and today's word is Nutcracker.
You can find Momenta dies, stamps and embossing folders at your local craft stores like Joann, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby. I made a recent trip to my local Hobby Lobby and saw this amazing display for Momenta...
There was lots to choose from!!!  I picked up the Merry and Bright die to make my card so I could play along with the challenge.
I assembled a panel of card stock stripes in pinks and purples. The stripes are 1 1/8" wide and 4 1/2" long. I cut the strips a bit longer - approximately 5", attached them on their reverse with tape, and die cut the Merry and Bright circle. Next I cut the die from white card stock and inserted it inside the opening. The white die cut is secured with tape on the reverse of the panel. I trimmed the panel and then layered it over a piece of white card stock covered with double sided tape.
The inside of the window is sticky from the double sided tape so when I sprinkled the inside with glitter it held in place.
To play along with your favorite Momenta products make sure you use the hashtag #MerryAndBrightChallenge on Instagram and tag @MYMOMENTA #MOMENTA for a chance to win.

Remember you can find all your favorite Moment products at your local stores like Michaels, Joann and Hobby Lobby. Lots of on line stores carry them too like Scrapbook.com. I sure hope you find some time to play. I'd love to see you win!
