New Pretty Pink Posh Design Team Announced
and BIG GIVEAWAY!

Are you looking forward to 2022? I know I am! It's the promise of a a new beginning and all the possibilities that come with it that excite me. My 2022 is off to a good start! I've been asked to stay on the Pretty Pink Posh design team for the next term!

GIVEAWAY!!!
Head on over to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog and welcome the newest design team members to enter to win a $100 gift certificate to the store!  Yep!  It's that easy.. one stop and a comment! DONE!  Now that would be a great way to start the new year right?

I have loved Pretty Pink Posh products from the beginning when the shop included colorful sequins and a handful of dies. Today the embellishments have grown to include pearls, jewels, clay, sequins and more. The embellishments don't steal the show because there are lots of stamps, dies, and stencils for every occasion!

My card today starts with a rainbow Stitched Strip background because after all it's a party going on. I adhered the Happy New Year Script word die along the top of the card and covered it with a Infinity shaker.

The Celebration Mix of Confetti was poured inside the pouch so they're free to shake inside the entire cover of the card.
Images from the Happy New Year stamp set are adhered to the cover of the shaker. I wish you could see this one in person. It's total eye candy!

I hope your new year is filled with the promise of good things and 2022 finds you in good health and happiness!

Bow Centerpiece

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a good day. I'm still not feeling so good. I did an at home Covid test and it came up positive. Every day my symptoms seem a little different. Today it's a gosh awful sore throat.. I mean.. just swallowing an aspirin is not a pleasant thought today. UGH! I have a call into the doctor's office.. I'm hoping maybe some cough syrup is in my near future.
I hope you're staying well. I've got a few more holiday cards I'm sneaking in before the year end. This is the Waffle Flower Bow Centerpiece stamp set. The image is a festive box of holiday greenery and a lamp topped off with a great big bow.

I layered the stamp over a Diamond Texture panel inked with distress ink in Spun Sugar, Candied Apple, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.

A white Mistletoe Wreath die looks like a pretty doily and helps create a focal point for the card.

The finishing touch is a few white enamel dots. I also added some accents with a white gel pen to the Copic Colored centerpiece.
Our holiday celebration was cancelled because of Covid. I can't wait to see my family and share a good meal together. It's the little things isn't it?

I'm linking up at the Inspiration Station Challenge where they're looking for Winter Beauty this time!

Happy New Year!

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day. I've been a bit under the weather.. not sure if it's COVID but lots of similar symptoms.. headache, fever, chills.. Christmas was officially cancelled here and I was really hopeful that I'd be surrounded by family for New Years.. but that's not looking so good either. So today I'm sharing a wish for new beginnings.
My card starts with the "Happy New Year" sentiment from Waffle Flower "New Beginnings" stamped in rainbow colors on white card stock. It's a reminder that better days are ahead and to see the beauty of the every day.

I added an Outlined Circles die cut several times and stacked - topped with gold glitter paper to the rainbow background. Solid color circles that coordinate with the inky background are inserted inside.

It can't be new years without a little bubbly - even if its apple cider. It brings back memories of staying up with the kids and waiting to see who could make it until midnight.. it was always my daughter and we'd drink Martinelli's sparkling cider.

The "2022" was cut with the Bold Alphas die - I cut the numbers twice.. once from gold glitter paper and once from solid colorful cardstock. They're adhered at a slight offset so the gold peeks out from behind.
Wishing you better days in 2022 - here's to health, happiness and prosperity!  I'm linking up to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where they're looking for a PARTY.

Cookie Time!!

Are you a cookie fiend? I know I am.. I have such a sweet tooth! I actually think it's my biggest fault.. but if you are what you eat.. then I think I'm sugar sweet with frosting running through my veins! LOL!
Holiday baking is a must! Is there anything better than a home made butter cookie? You can just taste the difference! This past weekend we made Chocolate Chip and Frosted Poppy Seed Cookies. I'm trying to be good eating only a few every day.
This set has so many images - there is no way I could fit them all on one card. Check out that little cat peeking up behind the counter. The counter is created with scored cardstock to create a wainscot looking panel.
The background is pink and green cardstock topped with a Holiday Stripes cover panel.

I added some dimension by adhering some of the images to the card base while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape.
I hope you have time to bake the cookies.. it's so worth it when you're all done! YUM!  I' m linking up to the Paper Fun Day Challenge where the theme is Christmas!

Hamster Family Holiday

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! I'm feeling a little under the weather.. actually for about a week now. Feels like a regular cold but how do you keep your mind from wandering to bad thoughts? Is this it? Is it my turn for Covid? I sure hope not! I checked on line for testing sights and there aren't any available appointments until next week. I'm just going to pamper myself and take it easy today.

I'm playing along at Cupcake Inspirations today where this is the yummy inspiration this time! Aren't the snow people adorable? I love all the little details.. especially the eye glasses!
My cards always start out with arranging images on a sheet of clear plastic the size of my card base. These cuties are from the Waffle Flower Christmas Hamster Family set. I love all the details in this set too. the little hats, cups, scarves, presents and more!

Because everything is arranged on a sheet of clear plastic I can slide different backgrounds underneath to get a peek preview of what they'll look like. I decided on this soft pastel Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac Distress Ink background.

I added some purple jewels and a simple Labelmaker Holiday sentiment to the top. If you haven't seen the Labelmaker series from Waffle Flower you need to check them out. You get TONS of label type sentiments on one big stamp and you cut them all at the same time with ONE die.
Here's an angled shot to help you see the dimension one the card. Some of the images are adhered with adhesive foam tape while others are adhered flat to the card base.

Stay safe and warm and big hugs to you!
