Pretty Little Studio - You Make My Heart Sing!

I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with the Blooming Hearts Collection from Pretty Little Studio! I love the fresh prints and bright bold colors. The florals? Well .. I just love flowers ALWAYS!

I started with a background of Now You See Me paper, and then cut a slightly smaller panel of pink Romantic Lace.

Next I adhered some cut apart "Just Sweet" labels with adhesive foam tape. I chose label colors that would match different embellishments that I would adhere to them. For example.. an aqua cut apart label to match the aqua "Love This" flair, a yellow label to match the yellow heart from the "I Heart You" die cut pack, and a pink label to match the pink die cut "Blooming" flowers.

The bold colors of the Blooming Hearts Collection is a treat for the eyes!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - Bring On The Snowflakes!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Maybe you're starting to work on your Christmas cards? I need to sit down and start addressing some envelopes. I always get distracted wanting to write long personal notes and before you know it an hour's gone by and I have one card ready to go.

There really is nothing like getting a hand made card in the mail with a personal note. I appreciate the work and effort that go into each one and can't tell you how much they mean to me. I save these treasures so I can look at them again and again!
I had lots of fun playing with the CAS-ual Fridays Bring On The Snowflakes. I stamped them with Memento Rose Bud and Angel Pink on white card stock. Next I splattered distress ink in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Ink.
The finishing touch.. some sparkle and shine of course.. gems in the centers of the snowflakes!

Tupelo Designs LLC - The Apple of My Eye

Happy Friday! Are you ready to get the weekend started? Thanksgiving is coming up fast! I expect well be making sure everything around the house is in tip top shape for the big meal! I'm always hoping for a little crafty time - my favorite way to take a break. I'm totally happy to skip TV - my crafting relaxes and takes my mind to it's happy place!

Today I'm playing with My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Love You To The Core stamp set with coordinating die. I inked up the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic Markers.

I know that you think Copic Markers are way expensive.. but I really think if you use makers ALOT that they are the best value out there. Yes.. the price of a marker is $6. But when that same marker is dry you can purchase a refiller (also around $6). The refill will replenish the ink approximately 10 times - meaning you get the equivalent of 11 markers for $12. Brush tips are also replaceable.  I've had my markers for years and I don't expect I'll ever buy another brand.  The refills are always put to good use here.
The background paper for my card is from the Simple Stories Happy Harvest 12" Collection Kit. It's at the store for $5.99 here.
This image brings back memories of trips to the apple orchard when the kids had field trips at school.

Want to go shopping? I hope you'll try Tupelo Designs LLC. They're my favorite store. You can find all your favorite brands under one roof and shipping is always FREE (USA only - discounted rates for international orders). They even have loyalty points that turn into dollars off your next order. Your package arrives beautifully wrapped - and I've never had any damaged items. It's a nice way to treat yourself. Pretty Little Studio - You Are Awesome!

Sending you some awesome today! I know how hard it is to keep it all together - so much to do with the big feast (Thanksgiving) and the holidays coming up.... not to mention all the running around - getting kids to their events, grocery shopping, laundry.... some days it feels like a thankless job. This one is for you!

The Pretty Little Studio Blooming Hearts collection is a mix of fresh geometrical prints and florals in bold colors. The yellow background paper is called Lovely Sunrise and the triangle print paper is Now You See Me.
I topped the papers with a 4" Cambridge Doily to peek from underneath the die cut "Blooming" flowers. The wreath behind the florals is from Picture Perfect - a pack of frames, tabs and other embellishments.
The "you are awesome" sentiment is from another die cut pack called I Heart You. Some sparkle and shine always make me happy. I used some red and crystal clear to compliment the colors in the florals.

What a nice way to let someone know you think the world of them! Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most.

Tupelo Designs LLC - Sending Tons of Love

Happy Friday! I'm posting for Tupelo Designs LLC store today! They're my favorite place for crafty supplies because they have what I want and I just can't resist the free shipping (USA only - international orders discounted).
I'm always finding new favorites to play with in the store! I love multi stamped images. They come to life with the different layers of ink. I found the Hero Arts Color Layering stamp sets at Tupelo Designs LLC and I'm hooked! This set is called Blue Whale
That beautiful background was made using alcohol inks on YUPO paper. Tupelo Designs has lots of alcohol inks to choose from here. The alcohol inks are easier to blend than distress ink, and because they are liquid they blend together easier. Make sure that you protect yourself and your work surface because they do get messy and are impossible to remove from your clothing.
I tried embossing that little diver on the YUPO paper - bad idea. The paper is made from plastic and melted. On my second go round I used Staz On black ink.
Tupelo Designs LLC is my favorite store. They have lots of my favorite brands all in one place. In the past I would purchase items directly from the manufacturer. I had to spend a minimum to get free shipping - usually buying more than what I had originally intended. When I shop at Tupelo Designs LLC I can buy a little of each brand, and shipping is ALWAYS free (USA only - discounted international shipping). You'll find all your favorites like Hero Arts and so many more! Want to go shopping? Click here to jump to the store. I think you'll be glad you did!

CAS-ual Fridays New Release - Sugar Plum Fairy

If you're a fan of CAS-ual Friday's Stamps I've got some exciting news to announce today! Michele's added a new stamp set to the store for the holidays! This set is called Sugar Plum Fairy.. and guess what else? There is a matching die set that you can use to cut the Ballerina in the TuTu set as well as the new Sugar Plum Fairy set!

There is a fabulous snow tree in the stamp set as well as some wonderful hand written sentiments.
I created this card using a Kaleidacolor stamp pad. I swiped the pad across a panel of card stock to get the ombre stripes in the background, and used the same ink pad to stamp the tree too.

I added pearls to the snowflakes, and a generous sprinkle of Fun Fetti for some holiday sparkle.

Want to see more designs made with the new Sugar Plum Fairy Set? Head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog where you'll find a sample from each of the design team members.

But before you go.. leave me a comment.. there's some candy up for grabs! And you have to comment to win!

Great news! The stamps and die set are available in the store NOW!
