This month you'll find some gorgeous florals and different ways to arrange them like this beautiful Bouquet with a simple folded wrapper. I used Waffle Flower papers mixing dots and lines for a pretty feminine card.
New stems dies are beautiful inked with your favorite media. I used Distress Ink but markers, colored paper, watercolor.. all will look beautiful. The set even includes some pretty vases for easy arrangements.
The Bouquet set includes a bouquet as well as individual florals and leaves so you can arrange them as you like so you can get more out of your supplies.
The new Vase Variety set includes FIVE different vases - I'm only showing TWO here. You'll love arranging stems and florals in the pretty vases that have embossed prints on them.
There's also a new Wine Bottles die! I created a happy new year card so we can celebrate! You'll find it handy for birthdays or just an excuse to get together with friends for some fun.

Holiday Cheer

My favorite part about crafting is the ability to personalize cards for all the special people in my life. Do you have a special little honey bunny in your life? That's what my Mom always called my son when he was little and when I saw these cuties in the Pretty Little Studio's new Tis The Season Collection it made me think about the special relationship they had.
The Tis The Season Collection has lots of cute vintage images of critters, snowmen and of course lots of jolly Santas! I love the fun prints - plaids, checks, and dots - in bold bright colors.
The collection includes frames that are perfect for shakers like my card today, as well as sentiments, flairs, and perfect toppings like die cut scallops for borders and clear sticker stitches for a little faux fun.
I added a Snowball Circle sentiment to the top of the frame and a little flag that says "my favorite" for the special "honey bunny".
If your looking for some vintage images that will make you reminisce about Christmas past this collection satisfies!

Sending Love and Light

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! If you're looking for a new challenge you'll find another winner at Fusion Card Challenge . You'll love this challenge because there are three ways to play.. you can play along with the sketch, be inspired by the photo, or FUSE them together and play with BOTH!

I'm always first drawn to the inspiration photo. This time I spy a fireplace, diamond patterned rug, Christmas Trees, and a whole lot of grey. If you know me.. I just can't make a card without colors.. especially around the holidays.. so I'm twisting this one in a whole different direction. Maybe the photo isn't inspiring you either? That's ok.. you can still play along with the sketch. If you're really feeling clever you can fuse them both together.
Since the inspiration photo was what I would call "monochromatic" meaning just one color I tried to do the same working in shades of reds and adding greens for foliage (just like the inspiration photo).
I started with a background of ombre Distress Oxide..Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Barn Door and Festive Berries. The inky panel is topped with a Lattice Background panel die. Do you see the connection to the photo? YES! Diamonds!

I topped the panel with a pretty Winter Wreath that was colored with Copic Markers. I added a Poinsettia Corner floral to the bottom right of the wreath and tucked a cute little lantern from the Pretty Pink Posh Christmas Candles set inside the wreath.
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see how you interpret the inspiration photo OR the sketch. Maybe you need a little more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the team. Just click on their names below to jump to their blogs.

I hope I see you at Fusion Card Challenge! It's a great place to play and make new friends! I'm always inspired by the team as well as the linked up designs!

Grateful For You

It's that time of year that we reflect and count our blessings. I'm thankful for YOU! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind comments that lift my spirits and make me feel so blessed and I hope when you come and visit my blog that I always leave you with a smile.
This is my favorite fall floral this year - its from Reverse Confetti and it's called Fall Flowers. I inked mine with Copic markers and made my own wreath using the Detailed Circle die as a foundation.
The "wreath" is layered over a panel created with Distress Oxide topped with a Split Circle panel die.
The perfect sentiment is included in the same stamp set. I tucked it under the pretty foliage. The design looked a little "top heavy" to me so I added a dark print washi to the bottom to keep it grounded.
I'm linking up to Sunday Stamps where this is the challenge sketch this time.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks so much for making this past year so amazing. I wish you all the very best. Hugs!
