I admit I don't use my Silhouette Cameo nearly as much as I should. It was a big investment and I wasn't making the most of it so when this opportunity came up at Pretty Little Studio to do a product swap with Just Nick I was really excited. I admit I was a bit rusty with the functions of my machine, but my teamies were really encouraging and promised to help me if I got stuck. I'm happy to report that I made it without any assistance.. well maybe just a little. I couldn't find the tool to adjust the blade on my machine, but I found a helpful tip on line. Did you know that the storage area for your blade can also be used to adjust it! Very clever right? A life saver!
I started by cutting the Rosette Background. I'm sorry that I didn't make a note of the size (remember I'm a newbie) the finished size of the die cut is approximately 5" x 4 1/2". Next I backed all the floral openings with paper from the Pretty Little Studio Marigold Collection. I chose patterns that had the most color so they would be bold enough to peek through the white die cut.
Blue Bells" vellum and a Cambridge 4" Doily to the right side of the design.
Stems" leaves to the corners of the design. I love that there is a solid and an outline so you can layer them if you like.
Label Medley" and some pretty pink sequins from the "Baby Claire" confetti mix.
