SPDSS52 - With you I'm Always Home

Another fast week isn't it?  There is so much going on here!  Graduation is creeping up really fast!  This weekend!!   And Sunday is Mother's Day!  I haven't even started on those cards yet.   I need to get it in gear right?  LOL  I wonder what they'd say if I handed them (my daughter and my Mom) store bought cards.  I think I know my daughter would give me a very naughty look!  Bad Momma!

Happy Wednesday! You know what that means right? It's time for a new sketch at Sugar Pea Designs Challenge!  Our special guest this time is my sweet friend Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone!   I hope you'll stop by and say hi to her!  Her witty sense of humor always comes through on her cards and I know you're going to be delighted with what you see there!

I thought this was a great sketch for using the Log Cabin Mountainscape.  The semi circle in the sketch made me think of a sunset - so I created one with some Zig Zag Stitched Circles in different shades of yellow card stock.
You can't have a night scene without a few stars - so I added bitty star sequins and a few stars from the Gift Tag die set.

The fun sentiment is from the Wanderlust stamp set, and the stitched scallop borders are from Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope you'll join us at Sugar Pea Designs Challenge - did you see the prize that's up for grabs?   A $75 gift certificate to the store!!   Sweet right?    You can always see the latest challenge by clicking on the badge in the right side column of the Sugar Pea Designs Blog.

Such a fabulous card, Jeanne - and yes, it's the people we're surrounded with who make a home, a home! Store-bought cards - are there such things *grin*? If you do, be sure to photograph the expressions on their faces! Now that would be funny! They'd be aghast!
