Visions of Sugar Plums - Birch Press Design Poinsettias

It's day one of Lori Hairston's annual Visions of Sugarplums event! She's got some great sponsors lined up and wants you to play along.   Wouldn't it be nice to find a little treat for yourself for hopping?   If you are hopping you should have reached me from Cherry Nelson's blog. If you want to start at the beginning and get all the details you can find them here at Lori's Blog!

Birch Press Design is one of the sponsors for the Visions of Sugar Plums Event! Birch Press Design was founded by Memory Box and Poppystamps creator Dave Brethauer. It's a fabulous marketplace for craft supplies, unique kitchen designs, and home decor. You'll find a large selection of unique layering background dies, multi layer clear stamps with coordinated dies, and intricate detailed dies for papercrafting in their craft department. They feature projects made with craft items from the store on their blog every Tuesday.
Maybe you've seen the layered background dies at Birch Press Design?  There are several different styles.  This one is called Sevilla.  There are three different layers that you can use individually or stack together like I did for my background.
The beautiful poinsettias are from Holiday Poinsettia Stamp set.  This is a 3 layer stamp that consists of the background, outline, and shading.   There's also a coordinating window die set so you can cut these out easily.

I added some gold pearls for the flower centers.  The Snowfall Merry Christmas die was cut in teal with a second one cut in gold to add a little sparkle

I can't seem to do anything lately without adding some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.  Did you know they're a sponsor too?

The next stop on this hop is Greta Hess!  But before you go.. make sure you leave me a comment.  Winners will be selected from the comments left on the blogs on the hop.. so get around to as many as you can!!

Hi Jeanne! I have seen these Birch Press dies on Jennifer McGuire's YouTube channel, and I have to say they look fantastic! I love how you have used this one here; the poinsettia stamp kinda mimics that design. Lovely card! :)
