Happy New Year!

I hope you had a fabulous Christmas and that you got to spend the holiday with family and friends. There's nothing like that warm feeling of being surrounded by the ones you love to make the season brighter. Now that the presents have been opened.. it's time to look back at 2016 - and reflect on events past. It's also a time to look forward to 2017 with wishes of all good things.
Here's a toast to 2017! My card features lots of sparkle and shine. I've added silver glitter paper and sequins to coordinate with the fun fringe top on my tag. I threaded several strands of The Twinery Platinum Twine through the tag hole to make a bold statement! The mix of metallic thread with the natural cotton twine is beautiful! The Twinery has several different twine blends that have metallic threads. These really help make crafting for any occasion extraordinary. The extra shimmer is lush and expensive looking and adds lots of drama.
I added some Pretty Pink Posh silver sequiins - I love the mix of different shapes and sizes. All the stamps and dies on this card are from Reverse Confetti. I cut the Double Edge Scallop Border in silver glitter paper and then cut it in half.  The large scallops run across the top of the card, the small scallops across the bottom.
The papers are actually from the Halloween Fright Night 6" Pad! The Iced Aqua cardstock next to the silver is just yummy!
The sentiment and glasses are from the CLINK stamp set and Confetti Cuts. They're great for any sort of celebration!

We don't usually go out to celebrate New Year's Eve. I'll be up watching the countdown around the world while Mr. J is snoozing on the couch. My son will be lighting fireworks, and the dog will be hiding under the bed! Whatever you do to celebrate - have fun and be safe! Hugs to you and yours and may God Bless You in 2017!
