Jillibean Soup - A Card With a View

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today I'm making a scene card with Jillibean Soup You Make Miso Happy pattern paper and Peapod Parts die cut images.  Cards with scenes are a sweet escape - isn't this a fun neighborhood?
I started by creating the landscape. I chose two shades of green patterned paper for the landscape and some navy blue for the sky. Just a few wavy cuts with scissors creates a rolling landscape.. a perfect suburban setting for the little houses.
Details make all the difference when making a scene. Little leaf Peapod cuts become trees, a doily makes a sunny sky. I even fussy cut a little path to the front door of the home in the forefront.
The houses are added with adhesive foam tape to add dimension to the scene. A little heart helps make it clear that this is a home- not a house. And this card is perfect for welcoming a new neighbor, or to congratulate the new home owner in your life.

I love how the pattern paper scenery adds a touch of whimsy to the design.  I hope you give this a try some time!

This is DARLING!! I love how you created your own path and used leaves as trees. You are always so creative with your layering of the papers too. JUST GORGEOUS design!!

This card is so cute and perfect. The paper collection is so beautiful, the colours and the little houses. As always your cards are perfect and so well detailed.
