Waffle Flower Winter Leaves

Well hello there! I'm getting off to a good start this week and hoping to make it all! Today I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where this week they're asking "What's your favorite color? ". Call me crazy but I really don't have one... I like them all! But I guess if I had to select just one.. it would be blue. Growing up as one of three girls my Mom kind of color coded our clothes.. My older sister always got a pink dress, I got blue, and my younger sister green. My favorite color combination would have to be blue and red - particularly an aqua blue.
This card starts with a Tiny Diamonds A2 background plate that I cut from white cardstock and layered over a aqua cardstock panel.
I decided to make this one a shaker card so I added a big pinch of gold sequins before topping the panel with a die cut Rectangle Frame that I adhered acetate and foam tape to the back of.
The Winter Leaves set is beautiful and has lots of possibilities. You can stamp or gold foil the foliage stems, and then either stamp or ink the coordinating stencil to color the leaves and berries.
The stencil makes these really easy to ink and shade vs. traditional coloring with a marker.
Score another holiday card DONE! LOL! Have a great day!

I gravitate toward aqua and red as a favorite Christmas combination! I like the pretty blue you added to it. This is marvelous, Jeanne!
