Simple Stories Acorn Lane Collection

If you love Fall most of all I’ve got a treat for you! Today I’m sharing EIGHT cards made with the Simple Stories Acorn Lane Collection.

The collection offers papers in 12” and are also available in a 6x8” pad. I used the pad for my cards today because the size of the beautiful prints is a smaller scale so you can see more of the pattern on the designs.

The colors in this collection are shades of fall foliage with a hint of cornflower blue and Dusty Rose. I used coordinating Color Vibe Cardstock in coordinating colors to add solids to the designs to break up the prints. You’ll find a matching Color Vibe cardstock for every print in every Simple Stories Collection.

I love all the images in the collection that capture the comfy cozy feeling you get when you step inside your home after a cold fall day outside. I can almost smell coffee and warm apple pie looking at the card above.

Even the cat knows life is good cuddled up inside while mom reads a book and the chill is trapped outside.

And if you’re headed out doors for a walk over those crunchy fall leaves, don’t forget to dress for the weather. And while you’re at it, treat yourself to a cuppa your favorite! Is it a pumpkin spice latte?

I’ll still be making the most of my time outdoors when the weather permits – sitting on the porch and soaking up some sun before the winter weather gets serious. On weekends we’ll be having a bonfire in the yard to take off the chill, or walking some trails to see all the gorgeous color fall brings.

What I love best about Simple Stories is that each collection is a celebration of life. Acorn Lane reminds me to enjoy the beauty of the changing season and to discover the extraordinary every day.
