Reverse Confetti - I Hope Your Day Is A Splash!

Thanks for stopping by!  I love to make cards and my absolute favorites are those that create a scene.

Doesn't this look like a snapshot from the beach? A perfect summer day captured? The details are what brings a scene to life. The Hippo Pool Party has all the accessories that steal the show. A towel, umbrella, tote bag, beach ball and even sunglasses for Ms. Hippo!

The background is simple to create. I cut waves from scrap paper and used them as a mask to ink the sand and sky with distress ink. A good splatter of water adds some texture so it doesn't appear "flat".

Not a cloud in the sky today! Just a sunny sky cut with the Over the Rainbow sun. The sentiment is stamped directly on the distress ink background.
