There’s something about a shaker card that’s absolutely magical. I love the little pocketful of fillers that shake around inside like a kaleidoscope changing shapes and floating free inside. Jillibean Soup makes shaker cards easy. Their Shape Shaker Program offers die cut cards and tags, shakers, fillers and coordinating stamps.
I’m totally a tea drinker and I love the clean design and sweet sentiments of the Latte Love stamp and die set. You can add pattern paper to the pre cut shaker card base or use your own card base with the plastic filler insert window to create this pretty shaker card. I cut the Garden Harvest pattern paper to the size of the precut shaker card base and then traced the shaker window on the pattern paper. I used the coordinating die to cut the traced image.
Jillibean Soup has lots of different fillers to choose from including wood veneer, colorful foam balls, sequins, and sequin shapes. The new multi packs include lots of different shapes, colors and materials.
Shaker cards, stamp and die sets and inserts come in a large variety of shapes and themes. Many of the stamp images are solid so no coloring is required. I used pigment ink for the images to get full coverage and a clean impression.
This card was made with just the stamp and die set. I stamped the Hug In a Mug coffee cup and then die cut it. I put a piece of clear plastic behind the open heart window and then added adhesive foam tape around the edges of the window. I filled the open area with sparkly sequins and then covered it with pattern paper to keep the sequins enclosed before adding it to my card base.
