Fusion Card Challenge Floral Wall

I love to play challenges because they inspire me to create. Check out the newest challenge that begins today at Fusion Card Challenge.

My eyes always go straight to the inspiration photo! I love the blue wood planks and the gorgeous pink florals. If you're not loving the photo you can always work with the sketch. And if you're feeling REALLY crafty then FUSE them together!

I started with a background of light and blue strips cut with the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders Three die. I assembled the strips by taping them together on their reverse side. When the panel was assembled I trimmed it to fit the card front. 

Next I added peonies that I colored with Copic Markers. The flowers are adhered with adhesive foam tape, the leaves are adhered flat to the card base. This makes them easy to tuck under the flowers and adds dimension. 

Some sparkle and shine is always welcome here. The Caribbean Blue Jewels are my favorite... well until I get distracted with another color!
