SSCB #21 Paper Piecing

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  Is it starting to look more like Halloween where you live?  My neighborhood always goes all out for holidays.  I'm starting to see  cemeteries popping up on peoples front lawns, manikins hanging from trees, and pumpkins on front porches.   We are just getting started - my husband cut down the corn stalks from the garden and made a few bundles to decorate with.  Unfortunately the raccoons ate all my Indian corn so I will have to buy some this year.   I love seeing the rainbow of color on an ear of corn - something magical about the reds and purples in such an unexpected place.
It's time for a new challenge at Serendipity Stamps.  This week the challenge is paper piecing. The fussy cutting is going to take you some time, but it really is worth the effort and creates some dramatic images.  I thought this ghost image would look neat if each of the ghosties were cut from different pattern papers.
I hope you will join us at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.  You can make a project with any theme as long as there is some paper piecing and you use at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your design.  You can find lots of inspiration from the design team here.

Oh yes!  Can't forget!  The sale of the week is Buy 3 items get the 4th one free - now through 10-16.  Here's a link to the store if you want to have a look around.   Have a great day and happy stamping!

Tried to leave a comment here yesterday and for some strange reason it didn't post. But it gave to a chance to visit your fun card again. Love those cute ghosts and your paper piecing makes them even more adorable! Lots of Halloween goodness here. The glittery bow with a pumpkin is perfect!
