Pretty Pink Posh May Blog Hop!

It's a great day for a visit! Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating the May release with a TWO DAY blog hop! Today is the first day and if you're hopping along you should have reached me from the amazing Kay Miller's blog! You're going to love this release because it has something for everyone!   The new release has four new stamp sets, three die cuts and several new shades of brilliant metallic gems. This card was made with the new Flourishing Fuchsias. They're absolutely gorgeous - clean line drawings that are easy to color. These were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers.

Of course there are coordinating dies to make arranging them easy. I created a window by adhering two Stitched Film Strip Dies together.

The background is a card stock panel inked up with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Ink. The leaves have been attached with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. The flower stems are streaming down from the leaves - just like the real thing!

The simple "hi!" sentiment stamped on the colored panel is from the Everyday Greetings stamp set.

My second card mixes two of the stamp sets together. I couldn't resist putting some Playful Puppies next to the Happy Mail mailbox!

The best part of coming home is having your dog greet you at the door! I imagined they'd find giving a biscuit just as important as a special note from a friend.

The grass was cut using the Scallop Border dies. I cut two shades of card stock and arranged them like hills.

I love the cute little blue bird making another special delivery! Who doesn't like happy mail?

I made a distress ink cloud sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I also added a Picket Fence to define the yard.
