Today I'm playing along at Cards 4 Guys where they're looking for CIRCLE shaped cards! I'm getting a jump on the holidays and thought I'd play along. An unusual shaped card is sure to grab some attention this season!The base of my card - the large scallop circle and slightly smaller circle are from the RETIRED Waffle Flower Lacy Circles die set. I can't seem to part with this set because at 5" it's the perfect size for a card and the stitched and pierced details are just yummy! I topped the circle shaped card base with a Star Snowflake. If you look close you'll see I did a little inlay on the center pieces to help draw your eye to the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Star Snowflake sentiment set. I stamped it on a scrap piece of white paper and then cut it with a stitched circle. It's adhered to the die cut snowflake with a piece of foam adhesive to add a little dimension. I also added some gems on every other point on the snowflake just to add some sparkle and shine! The snowflake seems appropriate for today since we got our first snow of the season yesterday.. a little early for NW Indiana but not unheard of. I hope you find some time to play today!
