I hope your week is off to a good start. I've been so busy lately - the weather isn't cooperating for us to continue staining so we're keeping busy pulling weeds in the garden and trimming some branches that came down during a recent storm. It was a good weekend for crafting!
Today I'm playing along at the Cut It Up Challenge where they want you to look up into the sky and use a die cut! One of my favorite things to look at in the summer night sky is first.. the bats at sunset, and second the stars when it's a little darker. There's still some fireworks going off in my area to see too!
I thought this panel die from Waffle Flower was the perfect thing! It's really a unique die because it includes the frame and some die cut sentiments. You can leave the star "as is" of add a puffy shaker insert like I did.
I inked the card in primary colors in pastels.. pink, aqua, and soft yellow! I added a strip of enamel dots to the inlaid blue pieces for a little more shine and glitz.
It's really a very flat card except for the puffy shaker, but all those sequins are totally worth it!
