Happy Anniversary!

Thanks for stopping by! It's rainy and wet here in Northwest Indiana but that's ok.. I can make my own sunshine! And lucky me! The Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp is Bright and Cheerful!

My card starts with a Distress Ink stencil background using the Waffle Flower Two Step Diamond Stencil.

I topped the colorful background with a Copic Colored yellow Peony from the Elegant Flowers stamp set. I like to color the petals in different shades for a stained glass look with NO SHADING.

The sentiment is from the Happy Anniversary set that has two different large sentiments. I chose the hand written script and added a smaller sentiment just below.

The floral is adhered with adhesive foam tape while the leaves are adhered flat to the card base. This photo helps show the dimension better.
