Waffle Flower Hearts Frame

Love is in the air! My mind has been on Valentine's Day and I've been making it all. I like surprising not only my sweetie.. but friends and family too so I've been making cards in all different colors and styles.

Today I'm playing along with the Paper Craft Crew Challenge. This time they're looking for a little ROMANCE.

I'm playing along with some goodies from Waffle Flower Crafts. My card starts with the Hearts Frame die. I cut the die from white card stock and then cut it again with the stitched heart pattern in the center. I inked the heart area with some Spun Sugar Distress ink, and then used the heart die as a template, applying some Candied Apple in the center to make the heart stand out more.

The hugs sentiment is layered over some ombre red Skinny Stripes and a Sending Love sentiment is stamped on the panel.

Some glossy accents sprinkled with glitter add some sparkle and shine. I also inlaid hearts all along he edges in shades that match the Skinny Stripes.

I love the sparkle and shine of the heart and the clean lines of the colorful stripes.
