Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

You picked another great day for a visit! Pretty Pink Posh is having a two day blog hop to celebrate their new release! There's LOTS to see - something for everyone.. Moms, Dads, Grads, pretty PEONIES! And cute critters! So let's get started!

I made three cards to share today! The first is for MOM because she's always #1 This floral bouquet is from a mini stamp set called MOTHER'S DAY. YES! There are coordinating dies too!

How do you like that background? It's a distress ink panel of Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch. Next I applied light molding paste over the new LEAVES STENCIL.

The flowers are colored with Copic Markers and set on a SCALLOPED OVAL die cut. Do you love the new jewel colors in CORNFLOWER and CARIBBEAN BLUE?

My favorite set of this release is the PEONIES. They are absolutely gorgeous! I decided to give them an Asian flair by coloring them in orange. I tried a different coloring technique too.. coloring each petal a different shade. 

The PEONIES are set on the new LATTICE BACKGROUND die - perfect for florals! I love that stitched detail along the edges! 

There are several new word dies including CONGRATS SCRIPT in the familiar Pretty Pink Posh font. 

Won't this make a beautiful wedding congratulations card? You could personalize it for any color for the happy couple. 

My third and final card was made with the new CONGRATS GRAD set. 

I started by creating a rainbow background with the new GRADUATION STENCIL. I used some Pixie Spray to hold it in place while I inked one color of distress ink at a time. It turned out beautifully. 

I stamped the sentiment on a Scalloped Diamond die cut. I cut one from black card stock and a second from white card stock. I trimmed the edges from the white one and layered it over the black. 

I embellished the sentiment with graduation caps, confetti and diploma from the mini stamp set.
