Countdown to Confetti Day 2 - Work of Art, Rollin', Take Flight

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  It's day 2 in the Countdown to Confetti.  All the products hit the store on May 8!  We're showing sneaks of three more stamp sets today... Work of Art, Rollin' and Take Flight!
It's Reverse Confetti's 4th birthday and we've got lots of fun planned including a $50 gift certificate to one blog commenter and a second one to a Facebook commenter. We'll also be giving away new product each day! So stop by every day May 5-8 for a chance to win some Reverse Confetti of your own!

There's  lots to show you (7 stamp sets, 4 new card stock / ink colors, 10 Confetti Cuts, a new 6" pad of pattern paper, and a stencil!) so let's get started!
These images are all from the new ROLLIN' stamp set.  This set just screams summer.. think roller skates, hop scotch and riding your bike!

I left all the images un-colored to contrast with that bright bold VERTICAL STRIPES COVER PANEL.  Yes!  That's new too!

The fun sentiment is cut with the CIRCLES 'n SCALLOPS plain circle, and then layered on the zig zag circle from FLOWERS FOR MOM CONFETTI CUTS.
All the solid paper are REVERSE CONFETTI CARD STOCK colors.  Don't they look great together?
More color for you on this second watercolor card made with the WORK OF ART stamp set.

When I saw the new SWOOSH COVER PANEL I just knew it would be perfect with this stamp set.

A simple tip if you want to watercolor this background yourself..  emboss the watercolor paper.  It neatly marks where the edges of the pattern are making it easy to stay in the lines and not have your colors muddy.
I left the paint tubes uncolored, stamped in black to contrast with the bright watercolor background.
The sentiment is embossed with white directly over the water coloring.
Want to see more projects made with these sets?  Here's a list of all the designers with projects to share today.  But before you go PLEASE leave a comment! You can't enter to win unless you do!   You have until noon CST on May 7 to leave a comment.   Winner will be posted on the RC blog at 5 pm on May 7.

Jeanne Jachna (That's Me!)

I hope you stop back tomorrow as we count down to the Reverse Confetti May Release being available in the store on May 8!

Fantastic cards!! I love your first card where your black and white images POP against the rainbow stripes. Such a fun contrast! Thank you for your tips on watercoloring embossed images - I'm filing the technique away in my mental file cabinet (and Pinterest!). :)
