Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz - August 17 - Asian Tea Bag

Click for DeetsAre You Waltzing?  On the 17th of every month Waltzingmouse Stamps has a blog waltz.  The theme of this month's waltz is tea/coffee.    My personal preference is tea - and since it is still a hot summer here - mine is on ice. Typical American right?  Since I still haven't gotten the "Afternoon Tea" set I went another route.....   Asian!  And to top it off I thought what better than that great tea baggie template on the Waltzingmouse site  (here's the link: http://www.waltzingmousestamps.com/products/freebie-tea-bag-baggie).

I tried to glam this up as much as possible for a formal look.   I embossed all stamped images on this project.   I used Ranger Adirondack embossing powder color Bottle for my leaves and was surprised to find little specks of red glitter in it.  I used the Labels 10 for my top closure and used velcro to hold the flap down.  I topped things off with a little gold bird cage with beads hanging off gold cord and put a sparkly flower center on the flap.  I can't wait to see what everyone else came up with.  Thanks for visiting my blog and for your sweet comments!
