Waffle Flower April Release Sneak Peek Day 2

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of our introduction to Waffle Flower's April 2024 Release! We are excited to share the Wild Flower Stencil for the Postage Collage collection! The entire release will be available in the store on April 5.

If you love the Postage Collage Collection, maybe it's time you had another look. There are now several Postage Collage die's in different configurations - slimline, A2 etc. that will work with the different stencil sets.

This is a three layer set that you can keep simple, or if you're feeling daring you can kick it up a notch. I added pastel backgrounds with the Postage Collage coloring set as well as a striped background.

I added some cancel stamps from the older Postage Collage LOVE set.

The flowers in this set are so pretty. I couldn't resist adding a rainbow of colors. I am no expert at stenciling but the Waffle Flower Grip Mats and detail brushes have been a game changer for me.

I like that I can keep the stamps "together" on a "sheet" or cut them apart for different designs. I kept these together so you could see how the stencil looks "as is"

Waffle Flower April Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Hi friends! I'm excited to start the beginning of a three day event - sneak peaks of the Waffle Flower release that will be available on March 5. This release is called "Full Bloom", and we are excited to share some new creative flower sets and unique sentiments with you!

I'm smitten with the new Painted Flowers Background. The die cuts the detailed background plate and you ink it with the coordinating stencil set. I used Distress Ink to color my flowers in shades of pink and orange.

I thought these bright florals would be stunning against a chartreuse background that I cut with the Sweet Plaid die from the previous release. The textured background adds detail to the design.

The Mother's Day Word die is a two pieces set - a background die with an accompanying detailed word die. I know my Mom is going to love this bright beautiful card!

Winter View

Today I'm playing at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Whatever The Weather. I'm ready to put the cold and rain behind me and I'm looking for a bright beautiful sunny day!

I thought I'd make a scene card with the Waffle Flower Sunrise Mountain stencil set. I kept the colors bright and bold enough so you could stare out the window and dream up whatever weather you'd like.

My son has just developed a taste for winter sports and has been traveling to find the snow that he can't find here at home this time of year.

I added a few sequins for the promise of snow for him. They're sparkling in the sunlight.

This challenge makes me appreciate that we all have opinions of the "perfect weather". I find beauty in every season, but it's ok to dream about something different too! Have a beautiful day!
