Reverse Confettti June Blog Hop!

Yayyy! It's June 8! That means its time for a Reverse Confetti Blog Hop! We hop on the 8th of every month alternating with new releases and just for fun inspiration! I've got two reasons to celebrate this month and this card would be just SUPER for either.. my DH's birthday and Father's Day!

I love mixing a little of the old with the new because it illustrates how easily Reverse Confetti products come together. I'm revisiting the SO SUPER Set and giving it an update with some new products. I started by cutting the STARSTRUCK panel and inking it with distress ink in rainbow colors. You can find cosmetic brushes in lots of sizes on Amazon - the smaller ones make it easier to add more color stripes to your designs.

I added a YOU COORDINATES die cut (also inked with distress ink) topped with a sentiment from WORD UP. Finally I arranged the SO SUPER characters for a super fun finish!

Happy Father's Day Dad!

Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a card made with the new DAD stamp set with coordinating dies from Pretty Pink Posh!

What I love most about this set is all the different images - making this set perfect for so many of the different Dads in your life. I appreciate that all of the images depict activities that my husband has done with our kids.. from fishing to playing sports, to making and fixing.
  

I stamped the wood grain "D A D" letters on kraft paper with a dark espresso brown ink to look like wood. I had fun arranging the different elements on a piece of plastic the same size as my card base so I could mix and match until I was ready to commit and adhere them in place.

I adhered some of the elements directly on to the Stitched Strips background while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. The "D A D" letters are triple cut to make them thick like chipboard.

The "Happy Fathers Day" sentiment strip looks great adhered across the thick wood grain letters. I love color so I just couldn't resist sprinkling a few extra colorful fish.

Waffle Flower Rainbow Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to Waffle Flower’s June 2021 Release day! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, the Waffle Flower release is full of stamps, dies, and stencils for the love of rainbows!

Meet the new SLIMLINE RAINBOW DIE! This one has room for FIVE stripes of colorful layers. I added some clouds from the RUSTIC RAINBOW set and a OVERSIZED RAINBOW word die paired with a sentiment from the coordinating set.

You'll love the new background dies introduced this month like the QUILT CROSS PANEL used on my card above. I inserted RAINBOW colored pieces inside the openings. Check out all the stitching on this pretty panel!

For this card I cut the QUILT HEXAGON PANEL and inked it in rainbow distress ink colors. Stacking RAINBOW CIRCLE die cuts are my focal point and YES! Sweet Unicorns!!!

The HAPPY RAINBOW die is fabulous for making a scene. You can cut extra pieces like I did to add more clouds and palm trees.

The SUN RAYS DIE cut is great for stacking or setting side by side to create a custom panel of your own. The GET WELL Sentiment is from another new set with two large sentiments and several smaller sentiments.

The OUTLINED CLOUDS are delightful. I stacked mine on a background of SKINNY STRIPES. TO make the OVERSIZED RAINBOW sentiment more visible I added a vellum cut outline die.
