What I love most about this set is all the different images - making this set perfect for so many of the different Dads in your life. I appreciate that all of the images depict activities that my husband has done with our kids.. from fishing to playing sports, to making and fixing.
I stamped the wood grain "D A D" letters on kraft paper with a dark espresso brown ink to look like wood. I had fun arranging the different elements on a piece of plastic the same size as my card base so I could mix and match until I was ready to commit and adhere them in place. I adhered some of the elements directly on to the Stitched Strips background while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. The "D A D" letters are triple cut to make them thick like chipboard.
The "Happy Fathers Day" sentiment strip looks great adhered across the thick wood grain letters. I love color so I just couldn't resist sprinkling a few extra colorful fish.
I'm linking my card to the Dragonfly Dreams challenge where they're looking for cards that celebrate the men (young and old) in your life. I hope you find some time to play!
