Playing with one of my favorite collections today.. Pink Paislee's 5th & Monaco. I love the bright colors, pretty flowers and tropical elements.

Papers are fun to mix and match.. my tip for the beginner is to mix lights and darks for contrast and to help define different prints.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm feeling better every day and a little stronger. I've been getting out of the house for the past few days and trying to get my life back together. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kindness, and all the little things I took for granted before I got Covid... like no fever, no chills, eating.....

Today I'm playing along at the Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge with THING 1. That means I'm keeping it simple and using THREE different pattern papers on my card today.

The pretty papers are from Pink Paislee and called 5th & Monaco. I love the pretty florals and mix of prints.

Do you love pattern paper? I just can't get enough of it. I can't resist the pretty colors, fancy patterns and swoon.. the die cut pieces.

Sometimes you get lucky and a collection has some gold foil accents like the paper and images I'm using today from Pink Paislee's 5th & Monaco collection.

This collection has die cut frames, and coordinating stickers too!

My Creative Scrapbook September 2020 Kit

I love to make with pattern paper and die cut pieces. It's a treat for the eyes shuffling through the papers and looking through all the pretty printed die cut images and embellishments.

Inside the kit you'll find beautiful papers from Pink Paislee's "And Many More" Collection. There are coordinating stickers, chipboard and die cut pieces You'll also find some glittery alphabet stickers so you can personalize your creations for special recipients.

This kit is all about the birthdays! There are lots of yummy colorful cake images on the papers and included in the stickers.

I love that this kit includes lots of gorgeous florals and shiny foil accents on the papers.

I apply baby powder to the back of the stickers to make them easy to pick up and arrange. When I'm ready to adhere them I add adhesive foam tape or liquid (Ranger Mixed Matt Medium) adhesive to adhere them in place.

This collection is eye candy.. lots of bright bold colors with subtle hints of pink and mint.

It's a total party going on with confetti stickers and stars, cakes, candles, flowers and balloons. I love the pretty prints and fun sentiments!

I'm always happy to add some birthday cards to my collection. Did you know that we send more birthday cards, than cards for any other occasion?

This kit was really a treat to make with. I shared four cards earlier this month, and today I'm showing another 5. I really could have kept going too! These cards seem to have come together on their own. It was a sweet escape!

My Creative Scrapbook September Main Kit

Did you know that birthday cards are more sent than any other type of card? That's why I'm always happy to have more in my stash. 

These papers are beautiful in bright bold colors! I love the pretty florals and rainbow stripes. I think the florals are really the star of the show here.  I think they're gorgeous!

There's LOTS of cakes to choose from - even a pattern paper sheet that is ideal for cutting to make your own die cut pieces. I love the yummy dipped strawberries! What a treat!

There are also some tags in the collection with sweet sentiments.. and did you notice all the gold FOIL accents?

If you have trouble mixing and matching prints and papers, the sheets have a little strip showing their reverse side print that is always a perfect match. I like to break prints with solids, and light patterns with dark patterns so that they are easy to see. 

I cut a few tabs with a paper punch to add a little more color or a way to add a secret gift card compartment.
