CAS-ual Fridays Release Day Nate and Friday

It's release day and the last day of of the CASual Fridays August Release peeks. We've been featuring one set a day starting on August 17! Today we're sharing projects made with the Nate and Friday Stamp Set.

I stamped a background of loveable pups in red to create a background for my card. I love dogs and knew that this clean graphic card would appeal to men and women.

The stamp set has such cute sentiments too. I stamped this one on white card stock and then cut it with an oval die. To make it pop against the red pattern background I added a second oval cut from black card stock.

Isn't this sentiment adorable? A sweet card for someone with a new fur baby in their life. 

I mounted the red stamped panel on black card stock and added a few black enamel dots to coordinate the colors.

I think this is my favorite set this release!

CASual Fridays August Release Day 3 Bushy Tailed and Fox Banner Fri Dies

It's day 3 of the CASual Fridays August Release peeks. This week we're sharing projects (August 17-20) made with the new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps August Release! Today we're sharing projects made with the Bushy Tailed Stamp Set and Fox Banner Fri Die.

The set includes a sweet fox and raccoon line drawn image ready for you to color. I colored mine with Copic Markers 

I added silly eyes to help bring them to life and add a bit of whimsy.

The background was easy to create - circles for a sun, and border dies for hills and grass.

CAS-ual Fridays August Release Day 2Foxy

It's the second day of CAS-ual Fridays August release peeks. For the next several days (August 17-20) we'll be sharing projects created with the new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps August Release! Today we're sharing projects made with the Foxy stamp set. 

The set includes a beautifully drawn fox with a butterfly perched on his nose.

The sentiments are in a pretty hand written font, and the florals are very familiar as they match several existing CAS-ual Fridays stamp sets.

I placed the image on my Misti so I could do repeat stamping without the image blurring. I inked up specific areas of the image one at a time with Momenta markers.

CAS-ual Fridays August Release Day OneBe A Unicorn

It's another great day for a visit! For the next several days (August 17-20) I'll be sharing peeks of the new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps August Release! Today we're sharing projects made with the Be A Unicorn and Unicorn Fri Die.  I confess I've had an obsession with unicorns from a very young age and find I am still attracted to them.  If you are too then you will love the new Unicorn stamp and die.

I created a soft watercolor background for the unicorn with distress inks (Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold, Pistachio, and Tumbled Glass). I left the stamped die cut Unicorn clean and white to contrast with the rainbow background.

CAS-ual Fridays - Just Dance!

I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with the CAS-ual Fridays TuTu Ballerinas! I love the solid images that mean no coloring required. 

The matching Ballerina fri dies make them easy to arrange however you like!

I created a distress ink background with Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Worn Lipstick. I used stencil brushes for soft no line inking. I chose flower colors for a feminine look.

I set the die cut stamped images on a piece of clear plastic making it easy for me to pick them all up at once and decide where to put the background ink.

When I was happy with the coverage I spattered the panel with water, some watered down Mustard Seed and white ink.

A simple sentiment was stamped in the bottom corner of the panel.

The die cut ballerinas were adhered with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.

CAS-ual Fridays Fantastic!

I hope you're having a great day! I think when you want to impress someone when sending a card, that all you need to do is pull out the embossing powder. There's nothing like the feel of raised embossing, and when it's gold it's even better! 

I embossed the Full On Floral background stamp on a piece of light pink card stock. First I used an embossing buddy to remove static, and then stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder. 

The finished panel trimmed was 1/4" smaller than my A2 card base so I added a strip of gold glitter tape along the left edge of the card. You can also use glitter or foil paper if you have some handy.

The embossed panel is attached to a piece of craft foam and then attached to the card so it's raised a little higher than the tape strip.

I repeated the gold and pink throughout my design. The sentiment from Truth is is stamped in pink on a Scalloped Tag. A Fun-Fetti circle die cut in gold foil doubles as an eyelets. A second tag was cut from gold foil and both are threaded with gold twine. If you look close you'll see I added gold glass E-beads to the twine for even more gold glam.
