Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge
Meant To Bee

Have you checked out this month's Sugar Pea Designs Mix it Up Challenge? It's appealing on so many levels.. first just check that inspiration photo! I love that close up shot of the beautiful white bloom with the yellow center! And SURPRISE! There is a little bee inside!!!!
If you're not loving the photo that's ok you can play along with the sketch or the color challenge! i love that the sketch has little hexagon shapes to go with the bee in the photo. You don't have to use a hexagon shape.. you can use any shape you like! Here's what I made!
I started by stamping a yellow floral background with the Pretty Peonies stamp set. The florals are so detailed and absolutely gorgeous!
The focal point is s stack of Zig Zag Circles in brown, yellow and white. I stamped a sentiment on the center one and embellished the card with little bees from Hey Honey!
The bee's are a two part stamp.. one stamp is the yellow body, and the second stamp is the black markings. Easy peasy! Blingy black swirls trail the honey bees because YES! Everyone loves some bling!
Now it's your turn! Head on over to the Sugar Pea Designs Blog where you can see more samples from the design team and link up your own creation!
