CASology PAINT - Color My World

Are you having a good weekend?  DH got called in to work so I have a little xtra time to play.  I'm always up for trying something new and have been trying to perfect my CAS style so whenever I can I try to play at CASology.  They give you a "Cue Card" to inspire you and then it's all you. I like seeing the different interpretations of the word they choose.  This time the word is Paint.  Some of the examples are watercolor painted, some have materials you'd use for painting, and some have paint "splatter" like mine.

I'm always forgetting about my Waltzingmouse "Splat That" set.  I don't know if it's because it's small or if it's because I associate it with Halloween (that's when it was released), but it really does make the perfect splatters!  I paired it up with a sentiment from Paper Smooches and  added as much color as I thought it could handle.  It was really fun making this and I'm really happy with how it turned out.  The hardest part was deciding when enough was enough.
You have until Sunday to play so if you're in this week you better get moving!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Supplies Used:  Finished Size 4.25 x 5.5"
Stamps:  Waltzingmouse Splat That, Paper Smooches Headliners

Such a colourful card! I don't know why I didn't buy this stamp set - probably because it was released at Halloween and we don't tend to celebrate that much in the UK. I really ought to get it though as you have proved that it can be used for all sorts of things!

Perfect one layer card...perfect for the challenge!! I'm thinking that his set is not one I normally think of WMS...it's fabulous and I love it but, when I think of WMS...I think of fonts, flowers, leaves, nestie compatible etc. etc. and graphic in a different way!!
