WMSC #15 - I'm the Gingerbread Man!!

Happy Saturday!  Hope everyone made it through the hectic week.  It's time to sit back and see who won Top Mouse and check out the new Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.  I'm off to a cross country meet today.  I'm so happy my son is getting to run varsity this meet!  He's been working really hard trying to run his way in to the top 7 at his new school.  He's excited too - I hope he runs his socks off!
Well how is this for a sketch?  This one is by Jennifer Holmes of  Simple Flourishes.  I will tell you the truth, I stared at this one a little while before I figured out that I wanted to turn those squares into little gingerbread men. If you don't feel inspired right away hop on over to the WMSC blog and check out the inspiration from the other mischief makers.  You will be sure to see something that jump starts you.  Who knows, you might even win a set of free stamps!!    I stamped them in Versafine to get a clean impression with how solid the image is.  I ran a glue stick over them and sprinkled on the sugary glitter.  I think the glue stick keeps the paper from getting too wet.

I hope you find some time to play this week.  Oh and don't forget the Waltzingmouse blog party is on the 17th!  The Theme this month is Fall - this will be a great place to show off your favorite Waltzingmouse stamps dipped in some pretty fall color, or get some fab ideas for your Thanksgiving cards!  You can get all the details here

Thanks!
Jeanne

Love the layered diecuts! They are so intricate but go together so well!

Love that you used Gingerbread men in your design rather than squares! How cute is that?! Fabulous colour combo and the sweet pink ribbon and beautiful die cut frame are out of this world ;)
