Rainbow Birthday Wishes

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! I've been keeping busy with lots of yard work lately.. it's that time of year to stain the deck so if you spot me covered in paint splashes you know why! LOL!

Today I'm playing along at AAA Birthday Challenge where this time they're looking for BALLOONS! This is a new die called Outlined Balloons from Waffle Flower.

My card starts with 3/4" strips of colored cardstock that I taped together to create a panel. I cut the panel with a Nesting Rounded Rectangle Die and layered it over a card that I also cut with the same die set.

Next I added the Outlined Balloons and inlaid them with gold foil cardstock. The finishing touch is the Happy Birthday sentiment cut with one of the dies from the Papercut Party Banners set.

The banner set is terrific because it includes 5 different party sentiments. I double cut m ine and stacked them at a slight offset to add some dimension and look like fringes.

I love bright colors for birthdays - and sending this one in the mail is a total party going on!
