Pretty Pink Posh May Instagram Hop!

Hi friends! I just wanted to let you know that it's Day 2 of a 3 day Instagram Hop at Pretty Pink Posh. There's some prizes up for grabs and I don't want you to miss out. You can only enter to win if you hop along on Instagram.

There are some really great dies this release that you're going to love like the Decorative Birdhouses and Stitched Birds I used on my card below!

My card starts with a soft Distress Ink blended background in Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac. I topped the panel with an assembled birdhouse in shades of green. This is the largest of the three birdhouses in the set. Next I added an assembled cardinal and perched it on the birdhouse.

I tucked leaves in contrasting shades of purple and pink behind the birdhouse and added a few more birds. There are three birds in the Stitched Birds set and I wanted you to see all three. I love that the cardinal can double as a blue jay just by changing the colors.

I tried to recreate a blue bird and a cute little sparrow. The finishing touch is a scatter of yellow flowers with pearl centers.
