Momenta Christmas Wreath

Have you seen the newest products from Momenta? I was at my local Hobby Lobby and they had a big display completely stocked with the new designs. You're going to love them all! I couldn't resist this beautiful Merry Christmas Wreath.

I made two cards with the die to show two techniques and how the die can be used in several ways.
I created a distress ink background for this card. I covered the card base with Spun Sugar and then used a Momenta Chevron Adhesive Stencil to apply Picked Raspberry. This is my first stencil from Momenta and I was really impressed. It's got a sticky back to hold it in place and you get really clean lines. The photos on the package show stenciling on fabric so I wasn't sure how clean it would pull away from paper.  It worked perfectly - the adhesive isn't too strong - it doesn't tear card stock.  When you're done just reattach it to the plastic sheet it comes with, wipe it with a baby wipe and it's ready for your next project.
I die cut the Christmas Wreath from white card stock and then colored it with Copic Markers.
Here's a close up of the colored die cut over the stenciled background. You can see the deep embossed leaf and berry details.
I made one more card with a color block technique. I cut strips of colorful card stock and adhered them to my card base. Next I cut the die from white card stock and adhered it to the colorful background. The contrast is really striking!
Stop by your favorite craft store to see the newest products from Momenta. You'll be feeling Christmas cheer in no time and your cards will come together in a snap! You can also see all the newest Momenta products here at Scrapbook.com.

Have a great day!
