I hope you're having a great day! It's been a busy month hasn't it? It feels like it was just Halloween! Between that and the Cub mania here in the Chicago area I've had a few late nights! I'm not a big sports fan - but even if I tried to go to sleep early the neighbors weren't letting me have it! Every time the Cubs scored (for any of the past several games)I could hear fireworks - and poor Moriko was off shivering in the corner. I wish I could make her understand that I'd never let anything hurt her.
A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge. Here's the inspiration photo! You can work with the photo OR the sketch. And if you're feeling clever you can incorporate the two together - FUSION! I zoomed in on the Red and yellow dots, apples, and stars!
Honestly I almost made a treat box for teacher... but I've no longer got any kiddos in grade school. I decided to make a card that I'll give to my sisters who still has a few youngsters! Maybe this special card will help put them on the Gold Star List!
I'm still smitten with the Arrow Confetti Cuts that got me hooked on Reverse Confetti from day one. To repeat the scallop pattern on the Love note I added a scallop border along the right edge of the card.
For accents I added a bit of MT Washi (my favorite from Japan), some wood look sequins from Serendipity, a striped paper clip from Staples, and a gold star for teacher from Reverse Confetti Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts.
Now it's your turn ! Need a little more inspiration? Let's see what the rest of the design team made to share today!
You can link up your designs here at Fusion Card Challenge!

So full of fun, Jeanne!!
Fantastic teacher card! I agree, that is a great arrow. Moriko will be happy it's all over now. I have many sleep-deprived friends - ha!
This is such a clever take on the photo - beautiful, bright primary colors and fun patterns!
