Pretty Pink Posh May Release Instagram Hop

Hi friends! I just wanted to let you know that it's day three of a 4 day Instagram Hop at Pretty Pink Posh. There's some prizes up for grabs and I don't want you to miss out. You can only enter to win if you hop along on Instagram.

The May release includes everything you need for summer break - graduation, wedding, patriotic, and welcome baby too! There is a little something for everyone and lots of extras too.

I love the new Stacked Squares that are reminiscent of baby blocks, but I think they're fabulous for creating focal points for smaller elements like the ones I used from the new Baby Mug Additions.

I'm all about getting the most for my crafty dollars so being able to use a product for different occasions is always a big selling point for me.

I think this baby set is a must have too because my stash really doesn't have much baby themed items and these are absolutely adorable! Just by switching up the color you have the gender covered. My multi colored card is perfect for either.

So Does Hope Bloom

I hope you are having a good day! I've been stenciling today! A big game changer for me has been the Waffle Flower grip mats. I love it for layered stencils. Before the mat I was using Pixie Spray light adhesive. This left behind a bit of sticky residue that didn't look so good when it got inked on a layered design.

This Wild Flowers Stencil is a four layer stencil set. First the greenery and then the florals and details.

I topped the stenciled panel with a double stitched rectangle from the A2 Stitched Rectangles Set. I cut two of the dies at the same time to make a frame.

The Oversized Bloom die takes center stage in vivid purple and is paired with the Bloom Subsentiments preprinted and die cut labelmaker type sentiment.

Always Flowers

Flowers are my favorite subject and this time of year I'm finding lots of inspiration in my own back yard. Every day it seems like a new bloom is showing off it's pretty petals. Lately I've been noticing Clematis in different shades and used that as inspiration for my card.

The pink flowers in my design are from Waffle Flower and are called Painted Flowers. I cut them in different shades of cardstock and each color is gorgeous.

To add more color and YES! more flowers to my design I layered them on a Pop Up Tulips background that I inked with the Lovely Tulips stencil. The background paper is lavender.

A Nested Pinking Circle makes a great focal point for the Take Care sentiment. I love the Print and Script word sets because you get a written and print sentiment that you can mix if you choose.
