Comfort and Joy

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing a holiday card made with the Pretty Little Studio Comfort and Joy collection. Adding a holiday card to my stash is always a score for the home team!

I used a frame to create a focal point for my design that I embellished with gorgeous florals and adorable little bird. I love the realistic roses and pinecones in contrast with the whimsical bird.

There are lots of embellishments to choose from in this collection so layer it on! I added a sticker sentiment and some faux stitching to add interest to the design. The finishing touch is a sparkly sprinkle of sequins.

Journaling cards and frames make great focal points. I like to use the frames for quick shaker cards too. You are only limited by your imagination.

Crafting is my go to when I need a sweet escape. Today I was in a winter woods dreaming of sugarplums. Where will your crafting take you today?

Love You Lots

I hope you're having a beautiful day! Signs of Spring have come to the Midwest and you don't have to look far to start daydreaming of warm sunny days. The Robins have returned and the green sprigs of foliage from bulbs like Daffodil and Tulip are peeking up through the ground.

The Pink & Main "Bloom With Joy" stamp set is flower fresh with fun whimsical blooms. I think this set is perfect for spring designs, but I'm guessing that Mom would be really happy with this one for Mother's Day or actually ANY Day as a reminder of how much I love her!

I created a shaker to add extra bling to this pretty and feminine design. I cut the "Fancy Frames" from shades of pink. I love how they look stacked, and the repeating wavy pattern and stitching. The inside of the frame is a soft pink panel that I inked with Distress Ink using the Deco stencil to add interest to the design. The sparklers include "On The Town" gems and "Rainbow Crystal Confetti".

I felt a strip sentiment would work best on this design so I selected this one from the January Mug stamp set. The images were colored with Copic Markers, but I think any media would work great on this clean line design of this sweet girl surrounded by flowers!

I love when I can get more from my supplies and I think this stamp set is going to be a "go to" for lots of occasions. I hope you're smiling and that you find some time to create today!

Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Shamrocks Giveaway!

I'm so lucky to have you as friends! Things have been so busy for me lately and I wish I could spend more time visiting with you. I wanted to do something nice to let you know that I'm thinking of you and every single day I appreciate the kindness you give to me.

My card today is made with the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Shamrocks. I love that the set has lots of different sizes and stitched patterns. I think the stitches really show well on the gold foil die cuts.

I stacked lots of shamrocks to add more color to their centers, but you can arrange them however you like. I liked the soft green background but it looked a little flat so I die cut it with the Pierced Hearts Plate. I think it works because t he clovers look like they're made from three hearts.

The Lucky Shadow die makes the perfect sentiment. I paired it with a small sentiment from the Lucky stamp set.

Hoppy Easter

I don't know about you but I'm sure looking forward to spring and some warmer weather! These little cuties from the Pink & Main "Hoppy Spring" set have be smiling big and getting excited for the change of seasons!

I colored the eggs, flowers and accents with markers leaving the bunnies mostly untouched, and only added rosy cheeks and shading to their ears. The clean line designs are great for coloring in the media of your choice.

The new "Pop Flowers" 6" paper pad is perfect for your Spring creations! The prints are florals, plaids, gingham and butterflies in bright fresh shades. I created a hilly grass landscape with the new "Waves and Scallops" border die set.

A "Reverse Scallop" circle makes a perfect "sun" and a 1/4" sentiment strip is the prefect size for the sentiment from the set. I love how the stitched circle looks with the stitched hills! Some Starlight Gems make that sun really shine!

This set is perfect for sending smiles through the mail. I'm going to make some cute little tags with them to add to some gift bags with home baked cookies for coworkers! Have a great day!

Lucky Irish

Sending you a little luck of the Irish today with this fun Shamrock card featuring new products from Waffle Flower.

The card starts with a Pop Up Clover A2 background die that I inked with Distress Ink using the coordinating Clover Background.

The big sentiment is called Lucky Clover and is available as either a stamp or a hot foil. I used the hot foil to add some gold to my design.

If you look close at the sentiment you'll notice that it has accents that are actually outside the clover sentiment. I hot foiled them on to the inky clover background.

I double cut the shamrock adding a gold glitter one under the hot foiled and die cut cover sentiment. I like the extra gold that adds even more bling.
