Hello Friend Floral Wreath

Today I'm playing at A Cut Above - it's a die cut challenge and this time it's anything goes! I made this beautiful floral wreath for a friend with new Pretty Pink Posh die cuts!

I started by assembling the wreath on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. I cut the leafy wreath from a light green cardstock and topped it with an aqua circle die cut. You can use the circle as a guide, I used it to accent the colors on the wreath and help define it's shape. The Floral Wreath Builder Set includes all the dies on the wreath!

I topped the wreath with triple stacked flowers with flat back pearl centers. A double cut bow adorns the top of the wreath.

The background is a new A2 size panel called Scallops Pierced Plate. The finishing touch is a sentiment in the center of the design. I used the "Hello Friend" from the Friend Greetings Stamp Set. I love how it fussy cuts the out line of the letters!

Party Penguins

Today I'm playing along at A Place To Start where they're looking for cards for kids! I thought these cute penguins from Pink & Main would be just the thing!

The party Penguins set includes 5 penguins capturing various birthday fun elements and a sentiment too. The images are easy to color and they're super cute!

I love the little clown juggling and the one floating away holding on to the string of balloons. The coordinating die set includes dies for all the images including the sentiment.

The background is called Loopy Frame. I cut the frame from light pink and then layered it over a darker pink cardstock panel to add some contrast.

Bottoms Up

Today I'm playing along at the Four Seasons Challenge where this time it's SPRING! I go for a walk just about every morning and I'm always on the look out for new things. I've been spying lots of spring flowers and yes! You guessed it DUCKS!

I thought these two cheeky little guys that are "bottoms up" would make you smile! I'm always amazed at their antics!

The pond and ducks are from the Diving Swans die cut set. I added the cat tails from the Pond With Lily Pads Die Set.

The background is a Distress Oxide blend of greens and blues to look marshy. The finishing touch is the Better Together sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh Instagram Hop & Giveaway!

It's a great day for a visit because Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating their May release with an Instagram Hop! The new collection features hummingbirds, teacups, florals, and more! This collection of products will take your paper crafts to new heights.

Die cuts are always my favorite, but this time I couldn't resist sharing a stamped card for the hop! Meet the new Hummingbird Floral stamp set! Just as the name implies it includes florals AND hummingbirds. You'll even find a few sentiments to finish off your design.

The clean line images were easy to color and look gorgeous in any color scheme you like. I used alcohol markers for easy blendability.

That background is new too! It's an A2 size cover plate called Scallops Pierced Plate. It takes a plain background from flat to textured!
