Waffle Flower April Release and GIVEAWAY!

The wait is over! The latest Waffle Flower release is officially available in the store! To celebrate we're having lots of giveaways on Instagram!

We're calling this release #BlocksofFunWFC because it has lots of products that coordinate with what you might already have. There's several new postage collage stamp and stencil sets like this one called Postage Collage Tropical Sunset Stamp Set. It's got lots of sweet little stamps that you can arrange to make little scenes in blocks.

I created that fun wavy background by cutting sticky notes to create masks. It was really simple to cut the sticky part of the note, ink it and then cover it with the opposite side of the sticky.

I used Distress Ink for the background and Versafine Onyx Black for crisp ,clean, dark, solid impressions on the stamps.

I added a Sealed Sentiment along the center border and you can call this one done! I love the tropical vibes and bright colors!

Waffle Flower April Release Sneak Peek Day 3

It's the 3rd and final day of sneak peeks of the new April Waffle Flower Release! All the products will be available in the store TOMORROW when we'll be celebrating with giveaways on Instagram! We're calling this release Blocks of Fun because it's got lots of items that work well with supplies that you might already have.

My card today features the new Dried Flowers die set. This is a set of four stem florals that are so pretty! They cut like a silhouette - meaning that there are no detail pieces. To add the colors to the design I cut the dies once from green, and once from a color, snipped off the colored bits I wanted to add and then glued them to the green stems.

I kept this card clean and classic arranging the florals on an Inside/Outside Scallop Elongated Oval from a previous release.

If you look close you'll see I added some glossy candy dots to the flower centers to add a little more shine and interest.

The sentiment is from the new Simply Said stamp set. I cut it with a simple strip die - I always keep the subsentiments die handy because it cuts lots of strips in different lengths.

Waffle Flower April Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

Thanks for stopping by! It's day 2 of sneak peeks of the April Release at Waffle Flower Crafts. This month is called Blocks of Fun. We have lots of products that coordinate with what you may already have along with updated versions of some of our most popular designs.

Today I'm sharing a card made with the new Postage Collage Mini Seals. This is a die set that includes the envelope, envelope liner, lined note, foliage AND wax seal die cuts.

I started by arranging them on a piece of clear plastic the same size as my card base. I thought the little envelopes and florals had a romantic feel to them that I wanted to duplicate in the background.

To create a lacy looking background I cut an older die - the Mistletoe Wreath from white cardstock and adhered them an a panel of green cardstock. I love the contrast and the fussy look of the design.

That sentiment stamp is new too! It's from the new Simple Said stamp set. There is no coordinating die for this stamp set so I cut it with a strip die. I love the handwritten font that pairs well with the postage/ letter writing theme.

I used the existing Postage Collage Coloring stencil to create inked wavy backgrounds. I just taped the stencil in place, and cut sticky notes to make masks to ink the colors. I topped the inked panel with a Postage Collage Blocks die stamped with a sentiment from Sweet Plates Sentiments.

The butterflies are from the new Postage Collage Wild Butterflies Stamp Set that includes lots of mini stamps that you can arrange however you like.
