Did you know that they stock Pretty Pink Posh Dies? This die is called "Peek A Boo" and I thought it would be just perfect.

12 Kits of Occasions Rewind
It's the last day of the month and that means it's time for the 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits is a group of 12 friends who love to make cards. Each month we take turns supplying the group with a "kit" full of goodies (stamped images, pattern paper, die cuts and embellies). On the last day of the month we all post what we made with the kit. It's fun to see how our designs are the same or different. I don't know if you noticed but there are only 11 of us right now so we decided this month that we would case each other using some of the left over supplies from the kits that we didn't use. The hard part this month? What card to case, and "do I have everything I need left over to make it?" I personally don't like to copy a design exactly as is. I always try to switch things up a little bit to "make them mine". So I improvised a little bit and here's what I came up with.
Cathy Weber's Card .. so much I loved about this... the layers especially!!
My case of Cathy. I colored the starburst with a gold leaf pen and kept my design monochromatic.
Lindsey's card! Wow! I loved those sugared up strawberries and had to try this!
My case of Lindsey! Sugared Strawberries YES!! And a few minor changes to the layout. I added twine and a little button to replace the gingham tab on her original design.
I loved Marybeth's clean design and how she paired the little bird with the music. The sequins are so pretty too!
My case of Marybeth's design. Only one change to the layout - I used pattern paper as my base.
This card from Joyce was the perfect mix of paper and pattern and I was smitten with the way she matched the colors - so striking!
I kept with Joyce's layout an switched the theme to feminine!
Loved the clean layout of Marybeth's design and those yummy enamel dots.
This one is from Sharron! I loved how she colored the little birds - the rainbow of color was a delight for these eyes!
I gave my birds a colorful coat but framed them in pattern paper from the kit. There are still so many cards that I pinned that I didn't have a chance to get to. I hope you'll stop by the 12 Kits blog where you can get a preview of the post from each of the designers and links to their blogs. Just click here.

Sprinkled With Love!
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. I got a little yard work done pulling weeds - ouch the mosquitoes are horrible! DH and son went off to help at the church carnival so a little quiet time for me today. Miss Moriko is in trouble again - she chewed the wood trim around the bathroom door! I will be happy when she outgrows her taste for wood. Still trying to find the rainbow in that little tragedy.. A new door frame?
Have you seen the Waltzingmouse latest release? There are lots of goodies you're going to have a hard time passing on! Check out that stitched scalloped rectangle - yep! that's new to the store.. and.. all those cute little donuts are from the new Dinky Donuts set.
The confetti on the card is a new shaker blend from Waltingmouse too - its the Peaches and Dream mix. It has lots of fun little shapes like the flower, and star as well as the regular circle shapes you'd expect.
The doughnuts come in three sizes and have different "toppings" you can stamp in a rainbow of colors. IF you want to die cut them it's a cinch with a standard circle die. The "Sprinkled with Love" sentiment is from the "We Go Together" set that has lots of cute doughnut inspired sentiments.
You can see all the new Waltzingmouse goodies here.. AND if you're looking for a sale you just have to check out the sale page. Claire is making room for new releases and offering some of the existing sets at 50-75% off.

Doughnut Know What I'd Do Without You!!
Have you been checking out the latest Waltzingmouse release? There's 18 new items in the store including goodies in the store including two stamp sets with coordinating dies, stand alone accessory dies, and so much more! You can see everything new here. Claire is also having a summer promotion to make room for upcoming sets. You can find lots of your favorite Waltzingmouse sets for 50-75% off here.
My card today features the new "Dinky Doughnuts" set. You don't need matching dies for this set - all you need is a circle punch or die set. I used my Spellbinder classic circles to cut these. And wow are you going to have fun creating your own doughnuts with this set. There are three size doughnuts - with different icings - and different sprinkles so you can mix and match in different colors and combinations. You can even add little smiley faces to them! The possibilities are endless!
The sentiment is from "We Go Together". It has lots of coordinated sentiments playing on the word "doughnut".
Super cute right? I love them!

CASology Nautical - You Are My Anchor!
Another rainy day in the Chicago area so I thought I'd stay inside and play! What a gloomy rainy summer it's been so far. Where is the sunshine? Maybe near you? Could you please send it our way for a bit? I can't even begin to tell you how bad the mosquitoes are too! Apparently there is a second variety we are experiencing that are actually out during the day. Usually if you're in the sunshine here you won't see a mosquito. I hate the idea of spraying myself with insecticide to sit on my back porch!
I'm playing along with CASology today! The cue card word is "Nautical". I added a little pattern paper - not much - only about 1/3rd of the front so still lots of white space.
Finished Size 4.25 x 5.5"
Stamps: Waltzingmouse "Ocean Bound"
Echo Park: "Ahoy There" Collection 12 x 12

Tag You're It - Hello Beautiful!
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm excited to share another new challenge at Tag You're It! I love the inspiration every other week from some of my favorite designers. I really enjoy seeing projects through their eyes and then CASing them to put my own take on them. This time the inspiration is from Anja Curvers! Don't you love this cute puppy with the "Ruff day?" sentiment? It's like they were just meant to be together.
I immediately zoomed in on that watercolor background - it made me think of giving my dog a bath, and sometimes the little muddy pawprints they leave behind when its wet and rainy (like it's been so much here lately). This one would be so easy to take in so many different directions - especially the dog - since mine is near and dear to my heart.
Oh but.. so much want to make this my own and take it in a different direction.
I decided on some tropical flowers. The sentiment "hello beautiful" works perfectly with the flowers and I still got to play with some watercolors to make a bright bold background.
I kept the layout of the tag exactly like Anja's - triple stacking the "hello" die cut. A few gems add a little sparkle and unexpected dimension to the design.
