My card today features the new Fun Froggies. I had lots of fun coloring these little gus and creating a scene with a simple Distress Oxide blended background.

This set includes YES! Froggies! I only have three of them on my card! There are more!! It also includes some punny sentiments as well as some flowers, a butterfly, clouds and a sun for scene cards.

Yes! There is a coordinating die set and it cuts the sentiments too. Making doesn't get easier than that!

Somebunny Loves You!

Today I'm playing at Shopping Our Stash Weekly! It's a place to play using products that you might already have on hand. I'm a big fan of the Pink and Main Foilable Panels, but they can be tricky to photograph and I want you to see all that sparkle!

I really like this method of foiling because it's clean and perfect every single time. Simply apply the foil to the printed image and run it through your Minc laminator. Peel the foil to reveal the shiny image.

This set of prints is really unique because they coordinate with a stencil set that helps you color in the designs. The images are printed on a shiny foil that blends easily. I like using the dauber vs a brush on the shiny texture for a cleaner image.

The Easter Foilables Cut Ups is a big pack of printed and die cut sentiments ready to foil. This makes crafting a breeze - no ink pads or die cutting required.

The Bunny Hop Set One includes 8 preprinted foilable sheets in two patterns. Each one is a little different because one might have foilable bunnies, or a foilable background, or foilable leaves etc.

These cards came together quick and are so shiny! I wish you could see them in person!

Cheerfoil foil rolls come in so many different colors. And once you decide what color you want, say red for example, you'll have to decide what version you would like. Foils come in solids, sparkles, tinsel and other patterns.

Pink & Main has all the tools you need too, from daubers to papers, and even brushes to brush off any excess foil left on your design.

If you haven't tried the Foilables, I hope you do. And if you have a laser / toner printer you can create your own designs or personal messages to foil using the same Minc machine and Cheerfoils.

Easter Blessings

Today I'm playing along at If You Give A Crafter A Cookie. This time it's all about the Bunnies and Eggs. My card features new Pretty Pink Posh Easter Icons.

The stamp set includes 12 mini images that are iconic for Spring and Easter including a bunny, lamb, chicks, eggs, butterflies and more.

The coordinating die set includes cuts for all the little images as well as these flower shaped backgrounds to mount them on.

I used a new Easter Greetings Sentiment for my card and added a sprinkle of jewels because I can't resist a little bling. The textured background is an older die called Pierced Leafy Vines.

My Creative Scrapbook April Main Kit

This time I'm playing with the Main Kit that includes 12" papers and embellishments from Carta Bella's "Secret Garden" Collection as well as a few others to surprise you. You'll also find die cuts, stickers, a stencil, and lots more! Everything is perfectly coordinated to work together and shipped directly to your door!

The papers have a beautiful romantic feel. I love the gorgeous florals, butterflies and positive sentiments!

The kit includes everything you need to make these cards. The only items I added were the card bases, solid cardstock papers, adhesives, and enamel dots from my stash. You can incorporate you own favorite gems or sequins to add more sparkle to the designs.

The first thing I do when I get a kit is to sort out the elements. I add baby powder to the backs of the stickers to turn them into die cuts then I match the images I think will work well together.

I arrange the images on clear plastic sheets the size of my card front. This gives me a preview of what the finished card will look like before I commit and adhere everything in place. I can also slide pattern paper under the arrangement to see if my choices work well together.

I had lots of fun arranging the papers and elements. A simple trick to layers is to try to break up the patterns with solids, or to stack dark over light.

Frames make great focal points and scenes come together easy when you pair similar elements together.
