CASology has a new challenge that begins today! The CUE card word this week is "Soft". I like to play CASology because it challenges me to get outside my comfort zone and make something Clean and Simple, but I also enjoy seeing all the different directions the challenge takes. Just as an example... since the Cue word is "Soft" .. think of all the things that come to that come to mind when you hear that word. What's the softest thing you can think of? Butterfly wings? This will make you laugh.. the softest thing I can think of is my dog's ears! They're like velvet! Since it's getting to be the holiday season I'm going with SNOW!
I'm smitten with pink snow this season. I did a simple watercolor wash for my background - I mixed pinks and some red before splashing it with my new favorite white - Dr. Ph. Martins Bleedproof White Ink. It's got excellent coverage over watercolor and stays a nice bright white.
I stamped the sentiment in pink to repeat the color of the snowy sky on some die cut stitched snow mounds.
Finished Size 4.25 x 5.5"
Stamps | Poppystamps Christmas Greetings
Dies | Poppystamps Stitched Hills, Snowflake Circle, Peaceful Deer
